Almost all of these cases are in Democrat-governed cities and counties. Harris, Dallas, Bexar, Tarrant, Travis, Hidalgo, Galveston... Yet somehow this is the Republicans' fault. The left's logic is a total joke! People need to quit tip-toeing around their ignorance and call it out for what it is. It's really ruining the country.

You can't be serious. Abbott's reopening phases never met guidelines. His p***y footing around any real measures was a joke. Slap on the wrist, no real enforcement, and a refusal to allow absentee voting during a pandemic. The only 4 governor's that callous are all Republicans. The ones that scoff at masks are Republicans. They could care less about the spread. It's all about pleasing Trump. What kind of moron hosts a state convention indoors in Houston as our cases skyrocket? If Abbott demands schools open up, and keeps allowing indoor dining at bars and restaurants then the pandemic won't go away.
Oh, how I wish everyone could vote by mail for this election. It’s the correct, humane thing to do. Which is why Trump and his administration are trying to block it at all costs. The Republican-led Supreme Court rejected a request to expedite the case concerning mail-in-voting in Texas so that it would be heard prior to the November election.
