Who’s to blame for the white car killing BLM protesters?

I saw the footage of that video and it was horrifying, but in no way looked intentional. Just looked like some idiot who was driving around barriers.


I have not seen any major outlet or group label it a hate crime

 

You want me to protest where? A highway? At night?
First thing I'm thinking.. .It's a trap!

There is no cause that justifies the utter stupidity and recklessness of walking on a freeway at night.

It doesn't even make sense. What point are they trying to make by doing that?

Great another white Trumper sharing a YouTube video of a black trump supporter so they can make a point that they really aren’t racist because...

Candace Owen and this guy make folks like yourself look like absolute fools, and more racist when you feel like you need to share these videos to prove you really aren’t racist.

The right wing propaganda network and their army of trolls like this are working overtime to create this distraction campaign to drive a culture war they think can help Trump win in November. Do not forget that these basic facts are true:

-yes... black lives do matter and it needs to be said without caveat
-yes... the peaceful protests have made change, change that trolls like this guy want to try and diminish
-yes... Trump totally screwed up the Covid response that has wrecked our jobs and our economy
-yes he is a racist and most of his followers are driven by racial grievance more than actual policy which is why there are troll army’s doing their bidding to stoke animus even more
-No we cannot be distracted by the trolls

We know the basics here folks. This isn’t that hard and we should not take the bait.

It stinks that people got hurt with a poorly run protest without traffic safety measures. But that’s not the point of the OP. It’s just another attempt to poke holes in a movement and try and do their part to diminish.

because highways were meant to be shared by vehicles and pedestrians

 

The freeway was specifically blocked off so that protestors could walk on it.

Also the car blockade he drove around are passenger vehicles

Also who knew there were protestors at 130am ?
There’s a report saying they were practicing some dance moves before the accident happened

as I said, everyone involved - including whatever idiot decided to "block off" a freeway for pedestrian use - shares blame

does anyone think there is a newfound urge by the public to run people down intentionally?

who's on the highway to protest at 130am ?
the mayor ? police chief?

You could practice dance moves safely in the park or someone's backyard.

 

How fast was the Car going? It looked Like it was going very fast.

Was the driver intoxicated?

It looked like this car was the only car driving on the road. Was there a blockade keeping cars off the road that he somehow got past?

Did the protesters have permission to be on this road?

I don’t have enough information to know if anyone was at fault.

Maybe this was a tragic accident where everyone involved could have used better judgment.

 

Not if the dance was part of the protest. I don't care what time they protest or why anyone would take issue with it. Who cares?

 

Here is the scenarios I thought of
(pick 3 is mine)

1. He wanted to kill some BLM matter protestors.
a) Why would he swerve away from the crowd and back in? He would have killed more people .
b) If he wanted to kill people, usually people don't want to get caught.
c) if he wanted to kill people, he could have used a gun. that would have been much easier and logical.
2. He wanted to kill these 2 specific protestors.
a) He can't see these specific girls driving at the high rate of a speed.
b) he would have to gone to social media and found these people and targeted them and practiced stunt driving.
3. he was a reckless thrill driver
a) He drove a jaguar XJ or higher , that's a 50K new car that has 350 HP.
b) Didn't seem like he was having any problems where he would want to kill random people
c) He was a local college grad
d) Seems like he was enjoying his life
e) Police said 'Motive Unknown' means that he doesn't fit the profile of someone who hates protestors
f) People who like to RACE or SPEED do this LATE AT NIGHT.

 

Well 1 person is dead and another in critical condition. That could have been prevented.

"dancing to the Cupid Shuffle" could have been done OFF THE HIGHWAY.

According to the Seattle Times, the protesters with the Black Femme March stopped on the closed interstate during a nightly march and were “dancing to the Cupid Shuffle.”
