Just setting realistic expectations. I get it, we need some optimism for once. Luc being back is better than nothing, and low risk-high reward. There are a lot of other things to look forward to as well and I like the odds for the Rockets.
Love it. If his shoulder was healthy a couple years ago I think that might have got us over the hump. Hopefully, he's used the time off to heal up and feel confident enough to compete in the paint.
Oh ny gaaaaaaawdD!! My body is vibrating on another plane of existince right now.. it's happening! Rockets are accending.. we can do it!
Rockets would have won the championship if luc was healthy even without cp3. Nobody can tell me different
Westbrook/Rivers Harden/Gordon Covington/House Tucker Mbah a Moute/Green *McLemore, Carroll, Tyson will get 10th man minutes depending on match up/injuries/blowout. If Luc is 100% then House will be the one likely to lose his minutes. House needs to step up his defense and finishing because BMac is more money from 3. I was really hoping that Bruno would force himself into lineup during the training camp but if Luc 100% then Bruno may not get a chance.
I'm not expecting much given how long he's been an NBA non factor. However he is an elite tier defensive player when fully healthy, he could be a huge rotation add.
Anything he can give us is a bonus. He might be old and washed up, but so was Thabo. I'm happy we gave him another shot.
I think if he can give us 10-12 good minutes guarding Lebron or PG13, that would be extremely helpful to Covington/Tucker/Gordon/Rivers who are doing the heavy lifting defensively. We're going to be beating both LA teams to win the title, these end of bench guys help. We are way more desperate for defense than offense right now.
