Robert Mueller, Former F.B.I. Director, Is Named Special Counsel for Russia Investigation

OK, yet another time to put on my "shocked face"... as the supreme court runs interference again... hard to believe the unredacted material in Mueller's report doesn't look bad for trump if trump's doj and supreme court are making this effort to block it's release. As they say... justice delayed is justice denied.

Honestly, this isn't that bad of a thing. It isn't like the House is going to start impeachment hearings anytime soon so the delay isn't holding anything up.

This is actually an area where it will be nice if they clarify the law and spell this process out for future hearings. Hopefully, the justices are fair and realize that Chambers of Congress and the Presidency change hands all the time.

 

Well the Obama "fixer" Kathryn Ruemmler is now helping Susan Rice in regards to her "by the book" e-mail memorializing the 1/5/17 meeting between all the Russia hoax parties meeting at the White House written to herself just as Trump took office. So much evidence has come out now they can no longer deny it so I predict the narrative will switch to well yes we did it but it was all Comey's fault for misleading us. Someone usually falls on their sword for Obama once Ruemmler is brought in. Susan Rice set this up with her email to her self with this now fully unredacted email.

I am sure the peanut gallery here will go nuts with this post just as they have with every single post I made in this thread. Knock yourselves out guys. Time will tell if I am right or not about this particular prediction. You guys have been dead wrong about this from the start..

I predict that they'll say "yes we did it because it was our job to do it."

Scenario: If the Trump admin puts sanctions on Iran in November for interfering in our elections earlier that month, the Trump administration would be correct in assuming and preparing for the potential for retaliation by Iran, and they would be right to survey the Iranians to try and learn what type of measures they might take against American interests.

And the lets say an American is caught on those calls having discussions with the Iranians shortly after discussing those sanctions, and US foreign policy decisions that are not in line with the Trump admin.

The Trump administration would have EVERY RIGHT to unmask that American Citizen (let's say its Biden advisor Ron Klain) and alert Christopher Wray, and Pence/Trump.

So I predict Susan Rice, Obama, Biden, etc. will say... Yes we did it... because it was our freaking jobs to do it. If this is Iran in November, you damn well know you would want them to do the exact same thing to understand what is coming from Iran so decisions can be made to protect our country.

The problem here is you simply do not understand the basics of what is a scandal and what is the actual job of people like Susan Rice and the Obama admin who handled the situation by the book. The only difference is you know damn well if Trump's NSA caught Ron Klain on the phone with the Iranians undermining Trump admin policy, you'd raise hell calling for Klain to be put in jail along with Biden.

 

It was who's job to leak it and what purpose did leaking it serve? Why does this crime keep getting passed over as normal horse play? Just because it's convenient?

I actually agree with you about it being their job to investigate what they believed was possible collusion. Most of the people involved didn't know who the whole collusion story was created. I think Rice is most likely hanging Comey out to dry with that email.

Also, if Flynn didn't get fired, would he have found out about the investigations going on? What would have happened then?

Again, just try to find common ground: Does anyone disagree that leaking that phone call is a serious crime?

 

And as expected, retrumplicans will try to obstruct justice to protect trump and their hold on the presidency...

 

If these are the sections barr and the doj have allowed to be unredacted... imagine how damning the many parts that are still redacted...

Bill Clinton fired 90+ fed prosecutors. did you have a problem with that?

 

Did he specifically fire attorneys overseeing investigations into Bill Clinton or his close associates??

Also many of us were teenagers or younger during Clinton’s tenure, and given the current climate it’s pretty crazy to think that Bill Clinton would be someone that would have broad support by modern day Democrats. Many of his policies also have not aged well.

Also I would not object to President Biden’s AG in 2021 removing Trumps installed attorneys as long as the process is systematic and with the Senate approve AG having an independent process for district attorney selection.

So you are missing the point about political motivations and personal legal protection or coverups.
