I prefer the free office coffee. Ironically, my favorite flavor is the Starbucks Veranda. Now that I'm home, I drink the Kroger donut shop Keurig cups. Good stuff. My wife loves Starbucks and would get it every day if she could, but we compromised and now she only gets it 2 or 3 times a week. Every day would be $150 a month....on coffee.....ridiculous.
Did someone call? Do I need to investigate? I would like to remind everyone that I was quit when I come in here, and I'm twice as quit now.
Ok, I need help. Maybe an intervention. I spend too much money that I don’t even really have at this place. I’m asking for help. Isn’t that a positive step? Admitting that I have a problem...
And that people is why Starbucks is good to invest in. Once they find a victim that "never eats fast food" but becomes addicted to their coffee and spends money on it every week month and year.
I go 3 or 4 times a year to pick up their used coffee grounds for the garden and compost bin. Don't want to feel like a freeloader, so I buy a coffee or something.
I bought a Keurig and it came with Starbucks French Roast coffee. Of the variety pack I got and that box of Starbucks, it's probably the worst coffee I've ever had. I'm not a dark roast fan, but this stuff is horrible. Maybe it's because I got a bad batch. Could be because it was close to the "best by" date. But I did like the Starbucks coffees at work which were their Breakfast Blend and some other one I forget. I also like pretty much every medium/light roast Green Mountain Coffee Roasters coffee I've tried. But I'm not overly picky other than my preference for light/medium roast coffee. I'm ok with Walmart's Great Value brand, too. I bought one of those Keurig pods you can put whatever coffee you want in it, so I may go that route. Yeah, I never got the paying $5 or whatever for coffee -- but then I just do it for the caffeine, so as long as it tastes decent, it could be Folgers/Maxwell House, and I wouldn't care. I don't want anything I can become addicted to being expensive... I mean, look what they did with cocaine.
Im not quite there but I gave up coffee for tea 3 months ago. Caffeine tea in mornings. Decaf herbals at night.
Tequila WITH coffee will change your ****ing life. Sounds nasty. People give me a repulsed look when I order it. But it's the BEST. Waiter at Hugo's turned me on to it.
