Sounds like some GOP members might be preparing for life after Trump where they can say something like “I always had an issue with him but I wanted to stay quiet because I felt I could do more good from being close to him” or some crap like that.

If they really had a spine they would have already spoken up or would have voted for freaking witnesses during an impeachment trial.

    Their records are unimpeachable.

They bark for voters, sometimes play dead.

But we all know they roll over for donors and campaign money

The fact that she’s “struggling” with the question of whether to support Trump is very troubling. How could anyone even consider supporting Trump at this point. Republican politicians will regret ever supporting Trump. Trump will be viewed as the worst thing to ever happen to the Republican Party.

Like Joe Biden says, if Senator Murkowski still has to struggle with whether to support Trump or not, then she ain’t black.

I doubt it. Some with a conscience will feel a twinge of guilt, but the oppo wing has made it an art to portray the Dem leadership as an evil greater than Satan.

"I miss Bush" is more about the sleepy electorate's forgetful natures and one party never owning up to their mistake...and getting away with it.

First President in American history to have someone from his own party vote to convict and remove him from office. First President in American history most likely who has had his former Defense Secretary make a public statement that the President that he served is a direct danger to the US Constitution. From Rex Tillerson, to Jeff Sessions, so many former officials of his have come out and expressed how much of a buffoon they think he is.

How many "Democrats against Obama" PACs existed when Obama was in office?

Yeah, kiss ass then cover their asses. Remember Cruz before the election talking about Trump?

If Trump goes down Cruz will be the first to go back to flip flopping to keep his job. They all need to go. A bunch of greedy men with no sense of honor.

"I can't breathe" takes a whole new meaning with Cruz. It's because he has his head so far up Trump's big butt.

Screw her. The entire time she was complicit along with her fellow GOP congress members. I don't have much faith in the voters here but I can only hope that they will remember and vote every single one of these GOP members in congress out the next time there is an election.

Again I'm not that impressed with Senators like Murkowski's hand wringing now. She herself called what Trump did shameful yet still voted not to convict. To paraphrase the late Denny Green, He was who we thought he was and we let him off the hook..
