Speaking of ratings... how's trump's ratings going? -10% to Biden? Approvals in the low 40%'s and dropping? Direction of country in the low 30%'s and even 20%'s? Handling of the protests in the low 30%'s? Looks like trump's show will be canceled, hopefully soon enough!
The most pathetic part about that tweet is Trump thinking that he solved poor urban crime and poverty from one year in office while doing practicality nothing besides signing a tax bill that gave a **** ton of money to the wealthy. He's hopelessly out of touch. Unfortunately his supporters also somehow believe this bullcrap. It's part of why many people think his supporters are racist. They are very ignorant of the root problems in these communties and trivialize it.
Your last sentence there pretty much sums up the big problem. He's still trying to spout that he has the lowest unemployment rate for blacks? The May report showed that it was at 16.7%...just because it hit a low during your presidency doesn't cancel out what it is now.
Trump retweeted this. I'm guessing it wasn't because of the awesome gathering of supporters for George Floyd in Amsterdam. Ironic how he didn't retweet concerns about large crowds of people partying at beaches, pools, etc.., when the gatherings were for personal pleasure vice protests for change and justice. You also didn't see him retweet concerns about States (like Texas) not meeting curve guidelines and phasing down restrictions anyway.
But I absolutely guarantee that if COVID cases somehow go down after all of this, Trump will post about how he has done such an amazing job as President leading us all through this and then probably end up thanking himself.
And.....if they go up, it will have nothing to do with reopening schools, businesses, sporting events, amusement parks, etc... Trump and Company will blame it all on the protest rallies. The scary thing is, that all of the above will more than likely bring a surge of new cases. I'm pretty scared about it all. The only thing that will make this year of fear better for me is to see Trump lose the election. That is my light at the end of the tunnel.
