I got sucked into watching the War of the Worlds. On Xfinity they give you the first three episodes but after you have to subscibe to epix. I'm very tempted to. Does anyone else have epix? How is it overall?
Finished Better Call Saul, so fkn good...Started Tiger King, eh, kind of boring, but whatevs...Finished La Casa Del Papel, which is very good, going to start Toy Boy, another Spanish show that's supposed to be good...
I don't really remember much of the last couple of seasons other than I know I watched them, and I know I didn't hate them. It's been a while
There are some good shows. Pennyworth was great looking forward to watch Godfather of Harlan and Perpetual Grace, LTD both are on DVR. I would get the 30 days and see if you like those shows. Not many movies of note.
Been watching Dirty Money and wow I did not know the Kushners where such scumbag landlords. I can't believe nobody is reporting on this.
Penny Dreadful: City of Angels. I can't help but contrast it with the virtuosity of the 1st season, where acting, cinematography, and story were firing on all cylinders. I don't care, nor am I interested in any of these characters in the sequel series. The actors have zero chemistry with each other, nor is the acting particularly good, and the characters themselves are at this point two dimensional with little to no depth. The story's theme of xenophobia would be ok if it wasn't depicted in such a hamfisted and cliche manner. I'll keep watching to see if it improves, but it doesn't look good so far.
I watched the History Channel three part series, Grant. Would recommend. Civil War was effing brutal.
I did. I took it down after 3 days. You can't view on your PC. Who uses a phone to watch things at home? I like viewing things on the pc and the laptop. And if you're watching on your tv epix has to be running on the phone at the same time. Other than that, for the $5 they had an ok selection of movies.
Watched Space Force with Steve Carrell, I wanted to like it but its just ok, lots of potential but fell flat to me
Kingdom (DirecTV original) with Frank Grilo (The Purge: Anarchy), Nick Jonas currently streaming on Netflix (3 seasons). Never heard about this show and it's damn good.
