Sad thing is, media and casual fans will forever hide Steph behind the injury this year, claiming he would have been just as great if it weren’t for the injury
The comparison is dumb to begin with. They are not the same type of players. Its like comparing scottie pippen to KD. Theres several players more fitting of the comparison (lillard, kemba, trae young). Curry can’t consistently break down defenders 1-1 or dribble penetrate at the same rate. Much of his scoring is off Off ball screens and flares. Harden is a legit scorer getting his shot whenever he wants it carrying a heavy load every game without a gang of superstars. 32 straight 30+ pt games, 4 50 pt games in 2018-2019. 15 40 pt career triple dubs. Enough said. And this doesn’t include steals, post D and passing. Its not even close.
So all y'all do is not rambling during a lockout with limited player news? Way to sugarcoat the relevance of your own posts and belittle others. Are there any forum guidelines that forbid drifting away from a take? Both are not comparable players. If you really want to compare, compare combo guards, Curry is mainly a specialist and Harden an allround player and scorer. Spoiler You can accuse me of not being a Harden fan, I am an honest person. But I at least try to be fair, there are much worse haters of said player. I like role players, that is my own cup of tea. FWIW. For the record, I haven't mentioned DHoward in half a year except once or twice in the thread for example purposes. This is like ppl mentioning JLin once positively and some peg them for 'lofs' which is hilarious because arguments are running out. Not even mad tbh horrible comedy.
EG dropped a fluke 50, but Harden didn’t play in that game Steph has had Klay go for 60...KD has gone for 50 in the regular season and playoffs along with multiple 40 point games Steph has had 2 different teammates win FMVP Draymond has won DPOY but we got people bringing up that Harden has played with the likes of declining Dwight, aging CP3, and Russ as if that compares...
that’s my opinion of how u usually post...if u want to take that as belittling, then sorry, but it’s what u do Were u not the one who made that infamous thread saying Klay was better than Harden? If anything, u like to belittle Harden’s greatness. doesn’t matter if they’re not comparable players...Harden and AD aren’t comparable players, but I can still claim that Harden is better which is an indisputable fact
Draymond Green, as long as he is allowed his antics, is better than any other role in the league when you account for in game impact. Klay is basically a star in his own right at any given moment.
I just need GSW to break up the dynasty. Then we'll actually see how "great" Steph is with a change of scenery. Of course, by then, Steph fans will say he's just aging or come up w/ a shitty excuse for the fact that he's just not that great. The amount of clout that Steph gets, egos surrounding the roster are definitely going to start jumping ship. I doubt that Steph is the kind to be loyal at that point. Another point for Harden there . My hope is next season GSW screws up the team. Some overrated players in the draft classes, and it's not hard to imagine GSW team being really disappointed that they're no longer elite.
Even with 4 All Stars in prime AND Iggy, GSW still needed blatant and egregious assistance from NBA to beat Rockets in 7. And everyone and their mother knew it. Even GSW fans. Steph over Harden is ridiculous. More like Steph, KD, Klay, Draymond, Silver & NBA refs over Harden. https://www.barstoolsports.com/blog...rsary-of-a-game-that-will-haunt-them-for-life
Yes, tell him to shove his opinion. He's one of the dumbest people I've ever seen at a job where he's supposed to analyze things. Also, I don't need Perkins to know Harden is better than Curry. I know full well Harden is better than Curry. We would have 0 more championships if we swapped Harden and Curry, make no mistake about it.
no point being without kd. curry has one ring...without love n kyrie hurt he may not have any. harden would have just as many rings as curry with the talent curry has had
I know for certain that given the difference in talent between the Warriors and Rockets the past few years, someone has to explain whether the Warriors were underperforming while giving maximum effort, or whether Harden has more impact than we think. I suspect if we swapped Harden and Curry, the Warriors wouldn't need more than 4-5 games to finish off the Rockets each time. OTOH, maybe Morey and MDA have Curry putting up 36ppg too. Who knows.
Give harden his due credit for beating Minnesota timberwolves in a series back in 2018. I was glad to see harden beat the other adidas players (Wiggins and Derrick Rose) in a playoff series back in 2018.
