According to what @KingCheetah told me, Jane “lifted” for some of those apes. It is kind kept on the down low because it would undermine a lot of the good work Goodall has done studying primates.
This is the life I wanted at 6 years old... and it still sounds pretty damn good. A middle aged white guy paid to hang around Clint Eastwood and do stunts... always has new and nice cars, a loyal best friend and insanely hot women half your age surrounding you... and beer.... all while sleeping until noon.
