We cruised Texas Avenue in Baytown, but when we wanted a big adventure we did Westheimer...used to party at a club call "The Roxy" - what a great time to be alive.

Never got down to Westheimer but we did get our groove on at North Oaks Mall in the early 80`s (Klein Forest 1984).....good times, when I drive by it now I cant believe what a dump it is :(

Spent a lot of time at that mall (Cy Creek 1988). Had the dollar cinema and of course Aladdin's Castle! What a sweet arcade that was....

Ditto (Klein Oak 86), when all else failed, there were always the Midnight Movies...Rocky Horror, Heavy Metal, The Wall...

There was also a really good board game store by the theater called the Game Keeper...bought a ton of Avalon Hill games there.

And of course, Shannon's Surf Shop.

Cruising was dying down in the early 80s. Bars on the other hand...

    Numbers
    The Roxy
    Cardis

Those were my Westheimer cruising stops.

    OG?

I thought there was AG (Alief Gangsters), and Junior AG. The guys from Willowridge - Briargate were called maybe Bad Boys, but not completely sure about that. Maybe some fights and whatever between the groups around Burger King.

There was a Hispanic - Salvadorian group from Sharpstown - Gulfton, but I forgot what they were called. I heard stories about the safe apartment complexes being the ones they lived in while the ones they didn't live in had all kinds of mayhem.

This could be more of a 70's commercial than from the 80's.

Tons of gangs at that time. Class of 90 Hastings.

LFD (Lil Freak Dawgs) Can’t remember any other names at the moment. There were fights and wars going on everyday.

Wasn't going through neighborhoods to spray paint buildings and vehicles something that was popular for a while

Seems like SWC ( Southwest Cholos) was the gang from Sharpstown - Gulfton.

I saw some crazy stuff. Lost some friends around that time. One guy used to play Russian Roulette all the time and point his revolver at people squeezing the trigger. He ended up killing his self that way.
