Have you also had the seasonal christmas cake to compare? I generally don't care for "stuff" in ice cream, nuts, candy, even cookies frozen are too hard, not appealing. The cake ones though, with a little icing, is pretty incredible. THey're definitely on to something with the cake flavors.
Same here with the "stuff". I'm a homemade vanilla in a wafer cone guy usually. I haven't had the Christmas cake one, so I cant compare, didn't even know it existed, but it's now on my list. I have had their birthday cake and that was one of my favorite seasonal flavors when available. They're almost the same but in the confetti cake, they have a blue icing blend, that really tastes like icing. It very well may be icing cause it gets a little too sweet at times but is balanced if you spoon the right ratio of ice cream and cake pieces.
Inject it in my veins. Best ice cream I've had in a while. Before that, wedding cake was my favorite.
