    Hakeem olujuwon knew the opposition.

That's why olujuwon had close to 3,400 blocks. Olujuwon leads all nba players in blocked shots!

Here's the deal... Bulls did not have a complete team in 1995... Rockets supporting staff was much better.

    F Horry v Pippen
    F Chilcutt/Brown v Kukoc
    C Olajuwon v Perdue
    G Drexler v Jordan
    G Smith v Harper
Bench - Cassell v "I know my rights" Armstrong
    Bench - Elie v Kerr

The gap between Olajuwon and Perdue was muuuch wider than Drexler and Jordan.

Rockets would have won in 95 if we played the Bulls but Jordan is still the GOAT.

Goodness, since when did becoming a top 15 player of all time, but just not as good as Jordan become such a horrible thing to say?

Jordan was better. However, the dream might be one of the most under rated players in the history of the NBA, and that's saying a lot because a lot of people still have him in their top 10. People just don't realize how good he actually was. There's a reason Jordan himself constantly...constantly praises Hakeem. Picks him in his top 5 if he had to win a game. He knew the kind of player Hakeem was.

Jalen Rose said it well on his podcast the other day. "When Jordan stepped away, all the players were so happy saying hey, we could win it now! Hakeem said no chance...and he went and took them. He just took those two titles."

We will never know who would have actually won those titles if Jordan was still playing. People can throw stats for either side, but since they couldn't play those two years, we just don't know. Also, I get it, Jordan was there against the Magic when he was put out, but let's not act like if the roles were reversed, and Hakeem didn't play that full year, we'd be making the same excuses the Bulls fans were that year.

Jordan is the GOAT, in my opinion at least. That doesn't make Hakeem's legacy worse. The fact that the GOAT CHOSE the dream as his center of his all team dream team starting line up...that says enough to any idiotic fan that doesn't appreciate how good Hakeem really was.

If Yao and Tracy were healthy in 2009 playoffs, we would have won it all. Lakers deserve an asterisk for barely beating Artest.

Any fool can see that olujuwon would get the bulls in foul trouble quickly.

Any fool reading the statistics knows about olujuwon being a blocked shot machine.

Michael Jordan is a b-rate actor who thought he was a basketball player. Did you guys even watch Space Jam? That movie made Shawn Bradley look good.

    Here’s the thing
I know this will blow your mind

some of us saw the the rockets play the bulls
    Because
We play the bulls every year for every nba season

and as rockets fans back then, our nemesis was Seattle because they played illegal defense and we had matchup problems

the reverse was with the bulls , they had matchup issues with us

mainly dream destroying their front line

this was always the case every year we faced them

and our role players were better. The teams that we beat Jordan with did not have Sam Cassell or Mario Elie

we beat them with worse rockets teams
Like buck Johnson instead of Horry

17 games actually. A Bulls team that was .500 ball most of the year as many forget to mention in the "Scottie Pippen carried the Bulls without missing a beat when MJ retired" talk. That Bulls team was struggling with the hole at PF as you mentioned. That said, it still doesn't take away from how impressive it was that he returned for only 17 games and a year and a half away from the game to play the way he did. He certainly wasn't the reason they lost, but i wouldn't bet against him getting the team on the right page with a full year of playing. But, yeah. 17 games only after that long away from the game shouldn't be brushed aside. We saw what he did against one of the greatest teams of all time after missing nearly the entire season with a broken foot in 86 and barely playing any basketball. Only a GOAT can do these kinds of things, just like only one of the GOATS can be on a religious water and food fast and still dominate the game.

    4 things.

    1. almost blowing insurmountable leads is one of the great rockets traditions.
    2. maxwell makes that drive 30 seconds in with one hand. he must have had huge hands.
    3. hakeem's block of jordan around 4:40 is so high in the air and required such amazing timing
    4. hakeem's block of jordan at the end. it's not that a 7 footer blocked a guard on a jump shot. it's not that a 7 footer chased a guard out to the 3 point line well enough to guard him. it's that MJ is about as crafty and smart a player as ever lived. he always got the shot off. he always knew where he was and how to get around the defense. for him to think "i got this" and have it turn into "no, i don't got this" shows what a freak hakeem was. and this wasn't a fingertip block like starks (another example of how fast hakeem was), just a straight up block where jordan almost certainly thought he was getting a clean look.

Oh I missed the right stats because olujuwon had closer to 4000 blocks.

Grant hill used to rest up like this.

It used to drive people crazy especially in Orlando, the Grant hill/Steve Francis possibilities that never took off.
