So the rest of the world forgot Jordan was there in 95.

But I just realize a large brainless population forgot Kenny Smith was there too!

Kenny is a sellout. Period, end of story.

the fact that he was on the title teams and is still the biggest sellout makes it even worse

get this Kenny Smith love outta here

The Jet, not to be confused with Jason Terry, reps New York more than Houston

Who used to make their money in New York???

    Le$$ Alexander

    Dun dun dun

He was there in 95 too blowing up a championship team mid season.

    KABOOOOOOOMMMMM

Shiet let’s talk about Ellie or even Zan Tabak.

Remember when we used to keep tall white guys as victory cigars?

Kenny was lucky to be at the right place at the right time.
he ain't pure enough. he's a new yorker at heart..he'd probably be jumping back onto the Rockets bandwagon if we win a chip again.

There's no luck when you are one of the top 3 point shooters in percentage in Rockets history

    43% 3 point shooter in 95
    Code:

    @Rocket River @Ziggy

The reason why 99ers are better than all of the other fans here, which is a fact, we are.

is that we don't cry and shrivel up like we kittens thrown in the frozen water like you soft ass panzies

when any NBA Analyst , including Kenny, says something you don't like

We definitely don't change our perception of history

If Hakeem Olajuwon kicked your mom, we still won't change our thoughts on what he did as a Rocket

    Kenny is very underrated

    If he played team ball

If he played on a bad team, he couldve shot alot and had big stats

He is one of the few people who has been in the 3 pt contest and slam dunk contest. Guy can shoot and was underrated athletically

All Kenny did was not kiss so called Rockets ass by overrating the team

The media has only been wrong about the Rockets not winning the title twice

Kenny was a talented complementary role player with many limitations that cried out to the media every time something happened he didn’t like. Basically he was a New Yorker in a sleepy southern city. Yes, Houston was a big city but it was still small town in many ways, too. Our Rockets had a player with all star skills that just wasn’t an all star; being pushed by a rookie (Sam Cassell) that was all heart. Before Sam, Kenny still couldn’t finish games out so Scottie Brooks was used in the fourth quarter. Rudy T played Kenny to his strengths and covered his weaknesses up with the rotation. If Kenny didn’t get his minutes he would cry. (This is from memory 30+ years ago so please forgive if not 100%) on more than one occasion after a win, Kenny cried he didn’t get the start the 3rd quarter. Kenny’s playing time was more important than team success to him. Remember he was pulled because he couldn’t finish games on the regular. He was a combo guard with weak point skills that could hit open jumpers playing off of Hakeem’s dominance but when asked to preform on his own there wasn’t much there. Smith and Maxwell were both combo guards; their strengths were the others weaknesses plus Rudy T was able to coach, too. So, Smith was in the best spot he could possibly be in. Kenny was a good hand when put in winning situation; but he seemed to only care about himself to my memory.

that shot Kenny hit over Penny w/ 1.6 left in regulation belongs in the rockets' pantheon along with the kiss of death.

He still loves Houston the city though. I mean we all love Mad Max before he really returned to the scene. Can you imagine if one of our current Rockets quit on the team in the first round of the playoffs, leaves selfishly in bad taste and never returns to Houston for decades after? Yeah. We'd hate that player and boo him every chance we got. Yet we never stopped loving Mad Max.

Got the 'must win' game in Orlando.

You know if Shaq was mentally exhausted up to that point in his career, then Kenny Smith hitting them seven three's just elevated level of difficulty!

Kenny Smith and Jordan was both north Carolina and Jordan was as already eliminated!

What Max did was worse because that actually affected what happens on the court
He, of course, admitted that he was wrong and won back the rockets fans.

What Kenny Smith did had zero effect on the court and was part of his job

when the rockets were never picked to be the top story or win a title

that only affects feelings of soft and insecure fans

Which are all here except for a very few
