Two first round picks, a second round pick and 3/66 isn’t remotely equal to what the Niners gave up either.

The two picks they gave up were two of the last 8 picks in the draft. Based on draft value charts, the Texans clearly won the trade. Not to mention, a good swing tackle is pretty valuable.

Bladasz as a G\C swing maybe? Or a skill position guy? Guess we shall see. Still need a DB and RB I guess.

I guess Bryce Hall's injury happening at the end of the season is killing his stock, maybe we can get him later. Reid though apparently is very very fast and physical. Cool with this pick

    136. John Reid, CB, Penn State (5-10, 187)

Dane Brugler: A fluid athlete, Reid does a great job staying on top of routes and locating the football, using body position to squeeze receivers against the sideline. His lack of size, length and play strength are obvious concerns at the next level, but he helps mask his size deficiencies with his cover savvy (head coach James Franklin: “He’s crafty and understands the game.”). Overall, Reid is a small-framed, overeager corner, but he has intriguing man-cover skills with his lower body athleticism, competitive ball skills and smarts, projecting as an NFL roster-worthy player.

Bob McGinn/Anonymous Scouts: A three-year starter with ball production (seven picks, 37 passes defensed) and modest return ability, Reid lacks size (5-10 ½, 187) but ran 4.46 and had the fastest short shuttle (3.96) at the position. He played outside in base, inside in nickel. “He has great quickness – you can hang your hat on that,” one scout said.
