If you want to continue thinking Bad Boys was a good franchise - do not watch the third.

If you want to rank Bad Boys down the bottom - seeing the third will do that for you.

Lethal Weapon had the best run, then Bev Hills Cop. The others are just okay, okay, okay..... cause they ended up going to ****.

Lethal Weapon I/II and Beverly Hills Cop I/II are a tie, the rest of those movies & the other 2 series suck.

Gibson and Glover were just perfect as Riggs & Murtaugh. There are a lot of unforgettable scenes in that franchise. Beverley Hills cop had a few as well. I can't even remember what the rest were about.

Wow, no love for Rush Hour? I could pretty much quote every line of Chris Tucker.

the first one was probably the best. Part 4 was garbage. I don't even remember the 3rd one is that the one with the construction and the gangs?

Does Die Hard count as a buddy franchise?

    Guess we shouldn't forget.

    Mad Max, sorta?

I'd vote for Lethal Weapon from that list.

I was thinking more about the scenes between Gibson & Glover. I can't remember what most of the movies were about either (especially as the series wore on and new characters were brought on board). But every great once in a while when I re-watch them, those scenes between the two quickly come back to me.

Despite becoming a dick, Gibson could really act. Glover too. The chemistry those two had... they way they played off of one another in every kind of situation from intense shootouts to quiet moments... to scenes with Murtaugh's family... it was something to watch.

Will Smith has made some great movies, and Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy both can be hilarious, but none of those guys have the acting chops that Gibson & Glover do, IMO.
