WOW.... I didn’t realize he has already had 5 confirmed concussions in the NFL... and his production last year was way down from.... 2 concussions.

I'm actually kind of having fun with this absurdity at this point. We all know it's going to have to come crashing down sooner or later. The sooner the better. Keep on wheeling and dealing, BOB. You're one of the all time GM'ing greats!

If/when BoB gets fired, he will leave the Texans in a state that will take at least 5 years to come back from, maybe even more. No draft picks, no young talent on the roster, just a bunch of overpaid has-beens. Yikes

Bob and Jack did not pay attention in New England. What GM school did they go to?

Pay highest dollar on guys they bring in....
    -Tunsil (Two 1st round picks)
    -Stills (2nd round pick)
    -Cooks (2nd round pick)
    -Conley (3rd round pick)
    -Johnson (All-Pro WR & 4th round pick)
    -Crossen (6th round pick)

Sell at the lowest value on guys they send out...
-DeAndre Hopkins (has-been overpaid RB & 2nd round pick)
-Clowney (Paid half his salary, 3rd round pick & two special teams players)

WTF is wrong with the Texans? Are they trying to go 8-8 this season on purpose?

First, it was the Clowney trade to the Seahawks for a pile of ****/players.
Secondly, you trade a top 2-3 WR for a negative value contract/cap burden player and receive a crappy 2nd rounder.
You then trade that 2nd rounder for often injured / many concussions / about to retire after one more hit Cooks?

Are you guys trying to stack the NFC West for some reason? If so, can you trade JJ Watt for a conditional 6th to the 49ers? Actually if you guys did this trade it would wouldn't be as worst as any of the 3 trades above. SMH.

First let me say I don’t like either trade, since it is real life and salary cap matters, but the Fantasy argument really holds no weight in these moves, before last year David Johnson was drafted higher than Hopkins in probably 90% of all fantasy leagues... if we were playing fantasy I would be estatic to get that deal. Heck David Johnson still out performed Hopkins last year when he played.

I like this trade. If Cooks stays healthy he is a game changer. I would argue the receiving corps as whole is better than year.

Also 2nd rounders have less than a 40% chance of success. Fans tend to fall in love with the possibility of a draft pick succeeding...

BOB is the ultimate yolo gm. Let's hope it works.

But how does this fix the coaching though?
Even before this trade, as long as God's other son is under center this team will always have a chance to win 11 games, give or take some dumass hb pass from the 5yrd line. They're going to get past wild card weekend and they'll find themselves with a man leading that has no feel for the game.
