:( Ugh. Truly don’t wish the bad version of this **** on anyone. If there’s a silver lining, each famous person who gets may help another set of people listen more to medical professionals than political talking heads.

It's amazing that a tiger can get a covid test but a human can not.

True... But again, if we now know human to animal transmission is possible after months of thinking it wasn't, it's a huge global development...

1.67 million people have tests results in hand, but you are b****ing about a tiger getting tested which provides valuable science about the virus.

    Try being pro science.

Human to animal transmission has already been noted a month ago (to a dog). The dog eventually died.

I think at least 2 dogs confirmed. Not sure either died of the virus. One did die after getting put through the ringer of testing though. I imagine a ton of animals have it and also imagine it's not going to be a big deal. But we'll see. I guess it could mutate or something. I don't know, I'm not an expert on this and unlike the President I wont pretend to know.

Well, no -- Hong Kong. But who cares. If it's happened, it's happened and can possibly happen anywhere.

Some Trump supporters are calling for the firing of Fauci because they think he's a deep state agent.

Why must I constantly have to remind people I encounter to social distance ??

People are walking up to me so freely like it's just a regular day.

WHY all KNOW The REAL reason.

ALL races are doing this -- some are successful business owners.

They respond with 'oh yeah', then make the same mistake 2 minutes later.

Putting a number on it --- 70% of the random public are NOT social distancing properly. Perhaps in spirts (standing in line when they're almost forced by a marker on the floor), but MOST folks are not doing it.

i think the fear is it can jump

if it jump to a tiger... then it may jump around, mutated and all... so yea, a tiger suspected of c19 should be tested then do whatever study they need to figure out if it can jump to other animals and back to human.

I don't think a jump means that necessarily, in this case it was most likely just for the care of the animals vs science as @Bandwagoner claims. (https://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/newsroom/news/sa_by_date/sa-2020/ny-zoo-covid-19)

I am just surprised that human who are very sick and dying in some cases aren't being tested but animals are. It seems there is a stratification of who gets tested. Celebrities, important people, rich all have gotten tested even when asymptomatic, but even people I know who have had tell tale symptoms get sent home despite being very ill.

    Don't you find that puzzling?
