If Tilman wants to sell, sell it now.

One more damage is coming. Dump Gordon salary and picks for nothing offseason,

    As a result, bench sucks.

The rockets aren’t going anywhere and the nba won’t want any change because of this pandemic

this is just a Clutchfans driven topic
I wanted Les to sell the rockets for years
    That took like 20 years

Doubt other teams are going to be sold
    For all major sports

the nba is a global league and will still have interest and they have a diverse business model

I know most of the dumb fans here don’t realize that a massive chunk of revenue is shared television revenue

The rockets aren’t going to be sold
    The casinos won’t be sold

people will go to the casinos big time after this

The hardest hit thing he owns is restaurants and hotels

Lol Tilman will not sell... no way, he'd be able to buy his own debt and eventually in 10 years sell a few assets to debase that money by 10

The scale of this global economic collapse is unprecdented. Like it is literally off the charts bad. IT BROKE THE CHARTS. It's not a recession it's a chasm. Hell, 1 or 2 out of every four people reading this thread will be unemployed in 3 months on the current trajectory. And there is no job market to release them into. That is a calamity.

Teams will not only be sold, but teams will probably fold in major sports. They are not well suited for this kind of catastrophe. Nor is anybody

The question isn't if his business will be viable once this is all over - they will be fine. The issue is the losses he is taking in all areas will exceed his ability to borrow. Probably not as he has Trump as an ally and I am sure he will get to tap the $500 billion fund.

Are you set on actually believing Tilman is gonna sell the team?

The only reason Tilman will sell the team is to win a championship.

The scariest thing is that he is going to dump Gordon salary offseason by not paying luxury tax.

Sell the team, Tilman. This team needs solid bench, young players and future picks.

So when is the dispersal draft discussion coming? Who do we want from the Grizzlies and Pelicans?

Damn...even the 2 biggest money making are not profitable right now. Who wants protitutions if you' re a 50 years old fat guy that might die from the Corona?

How will the Mob make money? Illegal gambling? Protection racket?

"Like much of the country, and particularly Texas, Galveston boomed in the 1920s. But even the Great Depression did not stop Galveston's run of prosperity. Despite the financial ruin that faced much of the country during the Depression, not a single Galveston bank failed and unemployment was almost unheard of.[35] Key business sectors in Galveston during the Free State era were casinos and prostitution, in addition to many legitimate businesses.[4][33] During much of the period, the vice industries provided the majority of employment.[42] Two families held particular prominence on the island during this era: the Moodys controlled the largest legitimate interests, and the Maceos controlled the largest criminal enterprises.[43] Both families were wealthy with business empires that extended beyond the island.[2][44]"
