Who can buy the team realistically? Were there any other suitors in 2017?

Why is Korea looking at 169 dead and we are looking at 5000 to 200000 or more?

Both countries got COVID19 in the same day. One was ready and had real leadership. The other was us, who had neither

Are you tired of winning yet? Go pull a shift at Mt Sinai if you are. It will relieve you of this burden quickly.

    For the swine flu
The CDC said the first case was reported on April 15, 2009, and the government declared H1N1 a public health emergency on the April 26. The first test to detect the new virus was approved by the FDA two days later. Shipments of the new CDC test began May 1.

Mostly this. This slowed down the spread of swine flu. Every initial step Obama was ahead of Trump on a less deadly virus. (Until the travel bans which were never necessary for swine flu) (12,000 people died from the swine flu/believed 30,000 a year die from common flu (both in America stats))

Mostly you seem to be stuck on how many people got the swine flu. That's not what you should be looking at. You need to look at how many died and how fast it to was transmitted.

It was declared a pandemic that literally means it will be prevalent worldwide.

That's the same with covid-19 it's going to be everywhere, just depends how soon, everything we are doing now is to slow the spread, so hospitals don't get overwhelmed. South Korea is probably the best example of a well run response, from a Democratic country. Germany possibly as well. But I don't know a lot about their response. So don't ask me questions on them. :)

Let's see I'm going to start with "not let hundreds of thousands of die and millions lose their jobs" and then fill in the details from there.

These are things that happen when you have a Presidency that is not a ****ing idiot criminal clown show.

They listen to experts and make proper decisions. They don't ignore it, rage tweet conspiracy theories and disinformation,a then outsource it to their idiot son in law

Singapore and Taiwan also locked things up quickly and do not have all the cases that we do.

And they ask all residents to wear mask. Here, we're told not to wear mask...

Because we were unready. That's what happens when you get an idiot on top, supported by a bunch of idiots who grew up believing that government and science and expertise is evil.

The end result is actual evil.

One of the few good points in this thread. Keep in mind Tilman can sell off interest in the team. The bigger question is would anyone want to partner with him.

The issue is Tilman has been redlining for awhile now. Not many people have been thrilled with his accomplishments. If Tilman doesnt sell off all or at leats a majority, this team is dead. Tilman is not going to recover anytime soon. There will be a slight boom as soon as restaurants/entertainment open up, however we are going to be in a recession for quite a while. And the days of crowded dirty places that Tilman seems to love will not be as popular. Social distancing is here to stay. Social anxiety will be through the roof. People are not going to want to sit on top of each other in crowded noisy restaurants with cheap entertainment or sit at filthy gambling places.

Crazy what happens when you let the subject matter experts dictate your moves.

But mister, “we have 15 cases now and soon it will be zero” is smarter than the doctors in America.

We understand mister doctor, but our cult leader trump said it’s a democratic hoax!!!

A Democrat likely wouldn't have fired the entire pandemic response team years ago simply because they were trying to undo anything with Obama's name on it, regardless of its merit.
