Indeed, it is easier to root for the $50B man than the $4B man. Certainly, that man can rain money wherever he pleases. Could Fertitta? Sure. But this is almost apples and oranges comparing a man who has 10x the wealth of another. Not too mention Ballmer’s MSFT chops likely far outpace Fertitta’s LandrysRainforestNuggetCafe chops.
