Man the birds won’t STFU outside my house. They’ve been at it for 24 hours straight. I’ve never heard anything like this before. Usually, they start up in the morning but they’ve just been chirping away like they are having a non-stop orgy or something. I’m effen pissed off.

All birds and no sleep makes Surf a petrified turd sandwich.

this lockdown is causing birds to take over. THE F-ING BIRDS, MAN! F-ING BIRDS! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: It finally went dead silent about 6:30 am. I think it was one f-ing bird going apesh_t looking for a mate and finally found one. What a nightmare!

Edit 2: It started again! HELP ME!!!!

Edit 3: Silent again. Where is my typewriter? WENDY? CAN’T YOU SEE I’M TRYING TO WORK HERE? It started again! AHHH!!! I’M COMING, DANNY BOY!!!!

Yes, much cabin fever. Let's see. I lay out in the sun w/ my dog about an hour a day. I walk my dog once or twice a day, depending. I have been going on runs myself most days, but got lazy the last 2. I clean more. I am going through my Disney+ Watchlist & seeing a new movie every other day (I highly recommend Coco, the best one from my list yet). Yesterday I downloaded Jackbox Party Pack 6 & played w/ friends online over Zoom. There are lots of games you can play w/ others via screenshare online. Maybe you and your wife would enjoy doing that together w/ others. I'm baking desserts some days. I started a lecture series from the "Great Courses" online the other day & watching just one lecture per night; this one is called "How Jesus Became God" by Dr. Bert Ehrman. There have a large collection with tons of different subjects, taught by top academics in the field. Great Courses is free, but I have heard really good things about MasterClass, which isn't free but may be better for those trying to learn something new/hone a particular skill. I also got a Reddit account, to waste even more time.

The thing is I'm still working, but it feels totally off not to be socializing normally the last 3 weeks and I sometimes feel like I'm going crazy.
Find things to do. Pick up a new hobby if you can. And I think everyone should be spending at least some time outside, just at least 6ft apart from anyone not in your household. Getting out & exercising some is very important for physical & mental well-being.

I can finally play all of the video games I never had time for...so nah, it's not been terrible for me.

I really do miss sports though man...crazy we won't have an NCAA tourney, olympics, and a ton of other events. That sucks...but hey gaming is a good hobby to pick up when you are at home and can't go out.

Haven’t played video games in over 16 years or so. I think there’s another month at the very least to kill. Should I buy a PS4?

Oh man...the birds are back at it. I’m seriously losing it! My sleep schedule is f*cked!

Edit: HERE’S JOHNNY! YOU HURT ME REAL BAD! WENDY I’M HOME! DANNY!!!!!!

Edit 2: Not one minute of sleep all night.

Edit 3: It really is just one bird. This is the loudest f-ing bird I’ve ever heard in my entire life. I opened the back door and it was so loud. I’ve got to shoot this SOB. I’m going to have to buy a BB gun with night vision scope or something. Motherf*cker! All f-ing night non-stop! No wonder this f-ing bird can’t find a mate. Obnoxious POS! YOU’RE DEAD, PAL! VARMINT!

    I have 4 kids 10 and under.
    So it’s a nightmare here.
    At lease we have:

pool (but no heater... still in 70s... too cold for me)
    Trampoline
    Skeeball
    Pop a shot
    Tent set up in backyard
    Swings
    Game consoles (switch and Xbox)
A million board and card games
    At home gymnastics equipment
Keyboard and guitar (but we ALL suck at music lol)
    Arts and crafts
    iPads, computers and other technology
    Cornhole
    Gardening
    Cooking
    Exercising
Reading (2 of 4 can read great, third is in kindergarten and getting better daily)
    Basketball hoop in driveway
    Tennis rebound net in driveway
    Hide and seek (lol)

    sure I missed some

I’m thinking of signing the older ones up for online coding classes.

Our struggles are the obvious for our situation
    Lack of socialization
Dishes and cleaning generally (cancelled the service, kids help but not enough given their capabilities at this age)
    Learning/homeschooling (nightmare)
    Too much video games

Maybe, depends on your budget because PS5 is due to come out later this year and will likely make PS4 obsolete.

The next Xbox is due to come out soon too.

The most recent console is the Nintendo Switch but because of this whole thing they are selling out again. Lots of good time wasters on there but more of a family friendly library.
