Mr trump is crazy! He’s damn near incoherent. An example? To paraphrase, he said that we had to have “troops on our border with Canada, equal justice, you might say, because there are illegal things coming across that border. Chinese steel... “ Then he goes on and on, making no sense at all, babbling about tariffs, Chinese steel coming into Canada, implying that it’s being smuggled across the border, so we need troops there. That border is famous. Why? It’s the longest undefended border in the world. Canada is one of our closest allies. Canada’s military works closely with our own keeping an eye on Russia, which is making a play to dominate the fast melting Arctic, which is, for those who never look at a map, just north of both Canada and the state of Alaska. So of course trump goes out of his way to insult Canada in what had to have been an attempt to change the subject of whatever the original question was by one of the members of the media. He didn’t give a straight honest answer to any question I saw him take from the media. What he did say simply made no sense at all. The guy is a child. A spoiled child. A child with god awful parents who, incredibly, placed him in office so he could in his unique, egocentric, insecure, paranoid, bumbling, bigoted way, absolutely ruin our country, ruin our alliances, ruin our relations with our closest friends. That, and totally screw up what should have been an early response to the Coronavirus, that he dismissed as “the flu.” A “flu” several times more deadly than the actual flu we’ve been dealing with for decades, and ten times as contagious, and that is ruining our economy. This was known in late January, trump was briefed on it, and he just ignored the briefings. Ask him why he did nothing, and you will get a different dishonest answer from one day to the next, a dishonest answer in the morning and a different dishonest answer in the evening, a dishonest answer to one reporter’s question, assuming he doesn’t unload a bizarre tirade at the reporter for asking something that is perfectly reasonable, and then another dishonest answer 5 minutes later to a different reporter. That’s where we are. That’s who is “leading” us.
We, at minimum, should've had adequate PPE for doctors and nurses. Those items are vital and will get used eventually regardless of the intensity of this hit. It's terrible what's happening medical workers.
The stupidity of it is worsened by the fact that the lack of protective gear will expose more Health workers to the virus, resulting in a faster and increased loss of healthcare workers, and, the subsequent reduction of care and increase in avoidable deaths.

Who cares About international cooperation against an epidemic as long as he can use the term “Wuhan virus” for his own benefit. Again where have we seen this before? Him putting his own interests in front of national interests. This guy doesn’t care unless it affects him.
