Many long term legislators got rich off of insider trading. Hell it was legal once for legislators to do it once. Pelosi did it all the time. Soft corruption is rampant amongst the establishment in both parties.

LOL... fox gotta fox... btw, the headline is wrong even... there were FOUR other colleagues (burr, loeffler, inhoff, and ron johnson). All republicans, and at initial glance, only burr and loeffler were really abusing the inside information.
Disappointing to say the least about Feinstein. You expect better from a respected Democrat. She should resign along with the others. California has plenty of young respectable Democrats they can appoint to her seat. However.... lets not lose sight of the fact that Burr, and Loeffler made these transactions with inside info, and then went public to say exactly the opposite of what the truth was to try and calm the market while their transactions went through. That is profoundly worse, and not only should they resign, but they should be prosecuted for insider trading.

Feinstein's holding were in a blind trust, and she sold a biotech company - why would you sell a biotech company before a pandemic? Also she did not attend the briefing. But Fox sure is trying to pin it on here and bury the 3 Republican senators who sold personal holdings.
Well we all know how the advertisements against Burr will go. This race was close to a toss up already so now it definitely is. Its not just the sale of the stocks. It's the image of him warning rich people about the virus while simultaneously lying to the public and saying everything was fine. Kelly Loeffler on the other hand might get primaried because of this. The Georgia primary got pushed back and Doug Collins will run ads on a loop about this.
if it's set up as a blind third party making the decisions, the senators are probably ok otherwise, not good Burr is the swampiest of the swamp, protects the intel community he is supposed to oversee from any scrutiny.
This is something that should be resolved within a week. Either present that honest explaination of blind trust or prepare your ass for jail. This isnt the time to **** around. IF this is a crisis ( and it IS ) people are gonna have to have some level of respect for government and their leaders to make it through it. Can't have that faith when something like this happens and isnt dealt with quickly
