Accidentally misquoted your phrase. It wasn’t in anyway unprompted. You reply looking arguments, you move goal posts, and are consistently confused. My post was in no way unprompted, or without proper surrounding context to make.
Well said. What concerns me the most with Bernie continuing to campaign the way he is, with attack after attack on Joe Biden, is that he’s doing two things that help trump. Bernie’s giving ammunition for the hundreds of millions of dollars trump’s going to spend on advertising. Don’t think that clips of Bernie’s accusations against Biden won’t be shown on trump commercials. They will, and without the context that many of those votes are from decades ago, some for reasons having to do with watering down bills adverse to Democratic interests. Heck, when Biden was first elected Senator, he was underage for the position, having his birthday between the time he was elected, and when he was sworn in. He was 29 years old. In other words, he’s was in the Senate longer that many of you have been alive. Loads of votes to pick and choose from. Bernie isn’t bringing up the ones you would like. The second thing I’m worried about? Bernie’s supporters will see those ads, and see Bernie’s attacks. Many will end up voting Green, Libertarian, or even for trump. That’s what happened in 2016. 25% of Bernie’s supporters didn’t vote for the Democratic nominee for president. Easily enough to make the difference is a very close contest, where Hillary Clinton received 3,000,000 more votes than trump, yet 80,000 votes in a handful of states defeated her. Yes, she ran a lousy campaign. Yes, I understand that some of you consider Hillary Clinton the Devil’s spawn, as absurd as that is. Still, can anyone seriously believe that her losing and trump getting his claws on the While House, with McConnell leader of the majority in the Senate, was anything less than a catastrophe? Several of his strongest supporters here will say that they will still vote for Joe Biden if he gets the nomination, which is very likely, but many said the same thing in 2016, and 25% of his supporters didn’t. Sure, you don’t want to hear that, but it’s true. Think about it.
Yeah, I don't mind Bernie trudging on but the lame attacks need to stop ASAP -- he can get his point across without the edge.
I don't mind Joe Biden trying to win the debate and the nomination , but I do find it objectionable to do so by lying so blatantly about his record and his positions. Lying is just another issue that he somewhat removes against the current Liar in Chief.
