Trivialities in light of this virus and what it can do to the league and playoff ball. Much needed break for him and players though. Players cannot play to prove themselves to the audience. Make sure you stay entertained and safe.
I like how it still falls solely on t-mac with those bum ass-never healthy teams and his own body breaking down. GAME 7 against the MAVS was all on coaching and horrible ref calls all series. Game 7 against the Jazz was sadly all on the big fella and coaching once again as Yao got abused giving up OREB's which the jazz capitalized on with 3's and Yao couldn't close on Okur 3s all late in the 4th. Pathetic coaching to allow it all to happen. Series also saw ref job. Yao is still a saint and a scholar, but he should have been benched during that final stretch. 2nd series against Jazz was just injuries and outmatched by a better team. Harden wouldn't carry those teams to victory either.
i really wish we could have seen yao play for another 2-3 years. he was DOMINANT in that last playoffs .. it felt like he was just figuring out how to play like a superstar. i cry evertiem
My opinion on Harden’s playoff negative narrative is the simple fact that Harden isn’t an athletic freak. He can’t go another level because he’s already maxed out everything he can do. Same goes to CP3. Smarter coaching and a team with higher athleticism will always things more difficult for the average athlete even if he’s highly skilled. Harden can’t sky over anyone, that’s why he invented the step back. That’s why I don’t blame Morey for getting Westbrook, an athletic freak that sky above people to get a rebound.
We were both up 2-0 against those teams. Tmac and the team choked. Harden meanwhile never lost a series when up 2-0.

he blew multiple 2-0 leads it’s not like people get on him for not making the finals...he could not get out of the 1st round, and he wasn’t facing otherworldly, astronomically elite teams either maybe if he did more work in the offseason his body wouldn’t have broken down as quickly...every single year he came to camp fatter than the previous season and with a worse jump shot
You’re joking. Tmac didn’t win a single round. He also lost to teams that he shouldn’t have. Harden won multiple series 4-1, and only recently lost to the Warriors, the most talented team ever.
