All of Tilmans money making assets make their money through traffic/revenue. Tilman is already losing millions in Vegas as he says, and soon enough people will not be going out much at all. The Boardwalk will go mute, and I'd assume that place brings in millions weekly, along with all of his restaurants across the U.S. With people not spending any money outside of essentials, the economy is going to crash, and Tilman might lose his billions with it. What does Clutchfans think of this hypothetical? I feel this is a proper time to start discussing this possibility.

    lol

Les wouldn't buy an NBA again, his whole point of buying the Rockets was to sell it in the future to make money

besides he doesn't have real money compared to the real billionaires like Steve Balmer

Isn’t Tillman ridiculously leveraged in basically everything he does? He ain’t a billionaire anymore- he broke.

Mattress Mac can buy the Rockets. He had the second highest bid behind Tilman.

He might very well be losing gazillions of dollars. He would still need a buyer if he wanted to sell. Who do you think would be able, at a time like this, to pay the 2 billion dollars or so it would cost to buy the team?

I expect the hysteria to fade by April, and I expect the playoffs to start. Let's see what happens then.

This virus is not unprecedented in US history. We used to have, before the prevalence of vaccines, epidemics of diseases like measles and polio. We closed swimming pools, but never would have considered stopping something like the World Series. As the effects of this virus become apparent in this country, and we see that it is a virulent disease, but no more damaging than a bad, not Spanish 1918, flu epidemic, things will return more or less to normal. The death rate will rise considerably---to 12-13 per thousand, by my guess---but we will pull through. Hopefully, this will not be an annual reoccurrence, or if it is, a vaccine is developed.

Everyone would love Jim McIngvale, Beyonce, Yao, Dikembe ... until they too refused to pay the luxury tax and plastered their face all over the Toyota Center halls. :p

That's bs with 'only' a networth of $75 million. He would have to assemble a HUGE team of millionaires or have a couple billionaire friends inorder to put a serious investment group together for a $2.2 billion team.
