He will never win because he is a selfish bowler that never steps up in the bowling post season.

They have made a law for parents and public servants. Every parent of a child younger than 15 year old (not both parents at the same time) gets 15 days off work, where the state will pay most of their wages, so they can take care of their children.

What to do. This country will have to change its name and from Greece renamed to the Land of the Dead if this virus hits us like Italy.
We are almost as old as them, many smokers especially old people, with worse healthcare system.

As I said before..better poor and bankrupt than dead. It has reached this point.

The state has also begun arresting people who keep their business open breaking the laws.

It is interesting that Africa is doing well. They are normally an epicenter.

I'm sure their cheeks are or will be thoroughly clapped regardless of the temperature.

    Gov. Abbott:

DSHS lead agency in state's response
10 public health labs in Texas are now equipped to test for Covid19
    DSHS.texas.gov/coronavirus/

Asked health insurers & HMOs operating in Texas to waive costs associated with testing
For uninsured, if uninsured person needs testing, two options: public health testing or private lab testing
For public health testing, requires consultation with local health departments. If person meets public health criteria, person is eligible for testing through public health testing with no cost to the person.
Private testing can also occur but could be a cost to the individual.
If need local provider, can call 211, which can direct to low or no cost providers in area

Texas is seeking waivers for federal regulations for the school lunch program to give districts flexibility to give students food, should districts need to shut down temporarily to respond to Coronavirus

Numbers where we are today, understand they constantly change:
At this time, not counting people in Lackland Air Force base
    Texas has 39 confirmed cases
220 Texans tested in either Texas public health labs or by CDC
Approximately 75 Texans tested as we speak

Texas Public Health Labs have capacity to test 273 people per day currently, with that ability to increase
Next week, CPL will be able to test several thousand per week
    LabCore/Quest Diagnostics provide testing
Happening as we speak, first drivethru testing facility, near San Antonio
Working with SA, Dallas, Austin to implement drivethru testing sites. Anticipate 2, if not all 3, up next week or week after that

Declaring a state disaster for all counties in the state of Texas
-Authorize use of all available state resources
-Give Texas division of emergency management to re-assign & fully utilize personnel where needed the most
-Immediate ability to move resources around the state
-Allow TX AG to pursue cases of price gouging
-Approve the waiving of state laws that hinder state agencies ability to respond to Covid19

Key focus in response is prioritize the most vulnerable
Directing state agencies to restrict visits at nursing homes, state sponsored living centers, hospitals and day cares. This directive allows limited exceptions for things like end of life visitation & requires all individuals to go through proper screening.
Restrict visitation at prisons, jails & juvenile justice facilities as they work on establishing best practices/protocols
Directing state agencies to take any action necessary to facilitate telemedicine
Directing state agencies to provide flexible work & telework policies to employees to give them ability to care for their families while insuring state government continues to function at full capacity & provides all necessary services.
Anyone who thinks/feels/believes they're ill in any way, stay home & work from home. We don't need people sick coming into work.
With more people working from home or students, that will increase demands upon the internet bandwidth.
In typical Texas fashion, private sector stepping up. AT&T just announced waiving internet data usages for any customer who does not have unlimited home internet access.

Absolutely no need to go out & stockpile supplies. This is not a hurricane. No need to stock up on water or other supplies. There is plenty available. Those worried about empty shelves, these shelves will be replenished.
Hoarding is neither necessary nor productive.

Made it through SARS, Ebola, H1N1, we will make it through this.

On Feb. 7th, Lackland Air Force Base received 90 evacuees from China's Hubei Province
Of the 90 - 1 tested positive but since cleared
    All 90 have returned home
Not a death sentence. Typical outcome we expect to see.

I heard somewhere as Africans do not get that old, they have more 20-30 year olds.

Would explain why those untested are not sweating it.

Age, lack of testing and supposedly slower transition rates in warmer climates.

16 countries in Africa have cases right now but numbers are low

If they don't need the test kits, maybe they can ship them here...

That’s a pretty well-informed assumption. Many parts of Africa are pretty well already winnowed down and the survivors are some tough cookies.

1st case of Covid19 in a Galveston County resident.
Woman in her 30s, Northwest portion of county
Had contact with a known Covid19 case from Montgomery County
5th of March, had symptoms of cough & fever
Traveled to Austin, where she was staying & after several days, sought medical care.
On 11th, tested & found to be positive
    Presumptive positive
Sent to regional lab in Houston for confirmation
She's not in our county right now
Had fairly limited time in county
    Doing contact tracing
Other than that, no more cases
Actively monitoring & looking for more
    Only case at this point
As of today, no community spread in our county
Symptoms on 5th, on the 6th traveled to Austin
Found out about her last night. 11:30pm email last night
    Will look at her contacts.
If anything happens, will test them.

The death toll stuff should not be taken out of context. It almost doesn't matter at all to me. Herpes doesn't kill anybody. I don't want it. No offense to anyone that has it.

And it's more important to worry about transmitting it to older folks, not whether you might die or not.

Deaths in general for that age demo, from any source, will increase if hospitals are inundated.

So again, does it even matter at all to discuss that the younger age demos are expected to recover?

They're stupid to seek publicity. I'm sure the Canadian government will fine them heavily.
