Small ball don't work with bench players apparently!

D'antoni needs to move to the next phase of life! Retirement.

D'antoni needs to take a cruise to Egypt or middle East in the off season lol!

We might have won against Boston and Lakers on the road, but the overall road record wasn't really good.

That is what kept me thinking we are not a contender even when they were beating the Lakers.

Even Steve Kerr, who played the Death Lineup with Draymond at center, said it wouldn't work for more than 15 minutes a game. I think we should start Hartenstein, not only for his size but also his energy. I'd even let him shoot 3 pointers - he can't have a worse percentage than some of the bricklayers we're running out there.

Kenny from the nets would be a great new fresh start, and Demarr what not the perfect guy to help coach the system and get them up to par. He might could get alot more playing time lol. The nets looked really good for those few years, imagine having some elite scorers with this system. Hartenstein is ready to start some center.

Have to agree here. I love small ball with Russ. It works. It’s shown it works. But you need another tool in your arsenal when it’s not working. When the 3’s aren’t falling, get to the basket and get easy shots until it does. The answer isn’t firing Morey or start taking mid range, all the things that keep us from being a lotto team,

I also think we need to shut harden down for a week. Let him rest and get his head right. He is the offense, so when he’s off, the whole team is off. If you combined him and Russell you have the perfect player. I’d just love to see him attack the basket, push the pace, create shots like he used to. His body language is awful, not that it’s ever been great...but he’s been off since December. He comes in and slows down the pace and takes a lazy shot and that’s just not working anymore. Other teams have seen it too much

why not allow each of DMC, thabo, bruno 10+min/game, if others just can't brick open shots
we got nothing to lose now (literally 'rock bottom'), just merely 2-3 games down to 8th seed.

Kenny by the way knows mda playbook as he was assistant for mike in NY, and he played for texas cba team in the 80's which is pretty cool. So its not like it would be total miscue coach out there. Maybe be cool to implement his system now with the team 20 games left. Plus like i said im sure hes familar with Mda playbook from being an asssitant.

Blow it up. No reason to expect this to ever work out with this group. Why delay the inevitable? A total rebuild is coming before we win a championship again. Why not embrace it?

Dantoni needs to self isolate from the rockets bench and toyota center. Dantoni is just toxic!

Gordon has a provision in his contract where he can't be traded to another team that has another Gordon.

Most of time adjustments are overblown. You just say "Play Harder".

Morey and Dantoni must swallow their pride admit that small ball doesn't work full time then immediately insert Jeff Green and Hartenstein in the starting line up...bench House and Tucker

Shots are still there..but they arent falling....and Rockets cant play a lick of defense.....

The sky hasnt fallen even though it might seem like it. The Rockets will be ready to rock soon.

Serie A in Italy just halted all matches until at least April 3. Can the NBA do the same thing?? That would be one way to fix this. You can't lose games you don't play.

Team needs to just crash the boards better, switch quicker while contest opponents shots better and commit less turnovers. In short, make less mistakes. Offence is not really killing the team; its opponents shooting at will against us and getting too many 2nd chance points and wide open 3s. When Rockets shots are not falling then team has to shine on defense and little things stated above.

Team needs healthy Gordon back to strengthen the bench and will definitely need him come playoffs time. It is understandable him struggling as he’s skipped many games and might just not be healthy enough to be his best.

It's all going exactly as planned. Media "shake n bake" in effect. As soon as everyone starts jumping on our bandwagon we start losing to watch the headlines bury us as "over and done" as the rats jump ship. Then just as we have shaked um off we pull out a 10 win streak heading into the playoffs and will have baked um. Media shake in bake.

Honestly though I'm a little worried. I think it's tired legs (especially Harden) and hopefully MDA will play a longer bench.

Fundamentally I don't mind Math-skettball. Core equation is there but I fear model is not perfected and variables in the equation are incomplete.

Like the Rockets 3pt %. Statistically do players % go down for if volume goes up. How does one even mathematically quantity this. (minutes played? hustle intensity, biometrics: like heart rate, oxygen level?) Rhetorical question but maybe something the analytics team and basketball jocks have looked at.
