Time for MDA to bring back Harty and Chandler. I doubt he will, because he is set in his ways. This small ball system will only work if we have great 3 pt shooters. Trade Harden and EGO and get 3 guys who shoot over 40% if you want to play small ball
Since when has D’Antoni relied on bench chemistry? He only uses his starting 5 the most and maybe 2 players off the bench most of the time, since many seasons now I believe. Rockets just need to do mundane things like aggressively rebound, contest every opponent shots and commit less turnovers. This in itself will keep the opponent scoring contained. This outscoring opponents just seems to be too streaky and Hail Mary type strategy.
