I don't get it. He's leaving after the season anyways. Harden has the shot selection of a JR Smith or Gerald Green and plays so lackadaisical. How do you accept that as a coach ?
his style of plays are predictable.. time for a coach change... in addition trade harden and add supporting roles for Westbrook.. its Westbrook's team now
His style is so predictable yet is averaging 35 points a season and is constantly getting double teamed and having 2 or 3 guys on him when he drives to the paint.
What about the lazy passes when he is doubled, the sense of urgency, turning down wide open threes, and dribbling back to the three point line to avoid an open midrange shot.
He's been doing that for years. You guys are only mentioning it now because he's struggling from the 3pt line and because we're not winning consistent games. You wouldn't be mentioning it if he were hitting his shots as he usually does. Yet again, constant nitpicking when it suits you.
Nitpicking ? I am blaming the coach as much as I am him. I obviously want him to succeed, but what he's doing is not gonna cut it. I am far from a harden hater, but its just hard watch him lately.
that's the point, he's leaving so he doesn't care. Dantoni is infamous for burning bridges with all the teams he leaves, he simply doesn't care about making friends within the league and is probably why the media clowns him so often because he doesn't care about making friends in the media.
He already said he doesn’t need to coach Harden. He told us a long time ago Harden can do what he wants.
I hear you but man he is not playing well and hasn’t been avg 35 since Dec. yes still averaging high 20s and even 31 in Feb, but his play has been sloppy, and shot selection poor since the beginning of the year. It’s gone on too long to just be a slump at this point. I’ll admit other than Russ he isn’t getting any significant help though and that’s killing the teams chances of wining games where we choose to play poor defense (which has been happening more and more the last few games)
Mike is afraid to coach Harden and he should be. James is too mentally weak to handle any level of pushback. McHale is a perfect example.
Y'all blaming MDA for a mess Daryl Morey created. Harden's been entitled WAY before MDA got here. Morey was so happy he got his superstar he decided to not ever hold him accountable. Now that Harden's doing what he wants, how exactly is this on MDA? Stop making excuses for Daryl Morey's mess

Do you really think it isn't possible? James could very well force Tillman to boot Mike immediately. Again, look at McHale. James basically forced the hand when Kevin had more years. Btw, MDA's dismissal next season isn't guaranteed either.
