Jeff Green? He's athletic, long, can hit 3s and catch lobs. Does Harden remember how to toss lobs though? I think his brain is slowly overwriting all of it's lesser-used space with side-spin 3 point shots.
Shooting slump doesn't concern me Not being able to score at the rim is where the problem is. This offense is all about those two high efficiency areas. If we allow a team to take away the rim we're in trouble outside of hot shooting nights. That's a bad bet. We must reclaim the rim. Right now only Russ can impose his will and that's a problem. I don't think Harden is a different player now than at the beginning of the season or even last year. He's the same dude and I don't buy the fatigue theory. People love to say he's fatigued for years now. It's just the way he plays.
He doesn't need a roll man but he does need to learn how to move around screens like rip hamilton used to do. In this offence where he is still required to stretch the floor, have his boy set a screen.
Why do you think he is unable to finish at the rim? I think milage and to some extent playing hurt despite being 30 leads to mental fatigue.
