your "observation" is to drop all the way down to the 8th seed, meaning lose most of the 21 games left remaining.....ok and you're not sure whats wrong with that logic
You mean your favorite solution - 6'7 no defense playing Kenneth Faried? I used to be a Manimal fan until you went and loused it up.
Well since everyone’s sarcastatasm meter is about as good as our three point shooting accuracy I’ll entertain your question seriously, what would be the harm as a fan to save money via first round exit, and as a team to just battle the Lakers at what would most likeliest be our healthiest shape in a first round series? Also tanking for the 8th seed could mean Gordon and harden get healthy does anyone honestly give a dang if we don’t win a championship? Are we gonna be proud?
i mean saving you yourself money isn't really much of a legit issue if you're gonna put it that way. that's your own. whether you choose to be cheap or not is your own decision and to be fair, with all the hot takes and knee jerk this board has certain sarcasms that may seem obvious, actually aren't
So the board has you conditioned to believe everything you read? bummer said it before I’ll say it again. Love the rockets. Never gonna give up. Always at every game.
the board has conditioned people that dumb takes are common. that's how bad it has gotten. you haven't been around here long to understand where that's coming from
These are good questions @Clutch @Reeko Factors 1. Based on Member (Free status) - Trolls usually are newer members with zero stake in Rockets fandom, plus they will not pay for this site 2. Join date (been here less than 1 year) - Less than 1 year and starting many threads indicates a troll trying to get his agenda through 3. Content (Personal Tik-Tok like take) - This thread is where HE IS THE SUBJECT, red flag . Who are you who just joined? you have built Zero credibility or proven yourself as PURE like a @DaDakota 4. Location (Dayton, Ohio (North of Cincy, OH) - could be fake location but not close enough to care about the Houston Rockets Not China but at least they have a reason to like the Rockets Conclusion This non contributing member should not start threads ever again
100%. I still have faith in him. He’s come up big for us in the playoffs before and I know he still has the ability to take over a game.
Yeah, he tired. I wish now that Russ is here and tearing it up, he can load manage the rest of the season and recuperate. We need him fully rested by the end of the season... we need him on defense.
You all are a bunch of idiots if you can’t see that this small ball is not working and is never going to work with the players we have. Unless PJ starts scoring 20 a game we are better off with a tall like Capella (or anyone else). And yes, we may beat Orlando tomorrow, but that isn’t the same as beating the Clips or Lakers in a 7 game series. For my sanity, I hope the rest of Houston isn’t buying that a 6’5” center is the key to the promiseland like the 5 or 6 homers believe on this board!!!
You realize that I wasn't talking about you when I made the post you're replying to, right? The post that I addressed to you was the following one, in which I acknowledged that I completely see where you're coming from, but also disagree with your method of expressing it and some of the comments aimed at Tinman and other forum members. But call me an idiot all you want, I believe that smallball can work. Will we win a championship? Well after seeing the last few games I'm a little more concerned than I was before, though I still believe in the team. Meanwhile, I'll continue watching the games with that winner's attitude you're so fond of and not throw a hissy fit when things don't go the way I want them to.
Understand and I am sorry that I took your post the wrong way. I think, as you said, we have some of the same frustrations and ultimately the same goal of just wanting the team to succeed. Succeed to some on here may be having a competitive team that has a shot of getting out of round 1, while to others it may mean winning an NBA Title. I fall in the latter category, but need to work on (better) accepting/realizing that is no longer a realistic expectation.
