I want to buy in so bad. But how can you beat good teams in the playoffs 4 out of 7 times if this is a rebounding reality?

Giving effort seems to be necessary, believe it or not.

Will be damned hard in a 7-game series when Harden goes 3-13 from 3pt.

Most of the time, our players feel like they're coming to New York for a holiday. They seem to forget the intensity of the first ten games, and they despise the opponents

It's like... We can walk around, shoot the ball a few times and take the victory
The only good news is that we lost 31 rebounds, but we only lost two points

Dantoni ran our only "center" into the ground. Man had 0 points in 34 minutes lmao

that's the idea, but it only works if you're consistent with your shot making.

Like I said in the game thread, you need to have a big that you can throw out there when you are getting killed on the glass and the interior defense is poor. D’antoni could have thrown Bruno in there for a few minutes or at least play Carroll and Sefolosha instead of sticking with so many guards. The Mclemore, Gordon and Rivers lineup is trash, trash, trash.

If the Rockets hit like 1 more 3 pointer they scrape by, it was really bad shooting night, it turned around sure but if they had started off shooting decently the Knicks probably flop over for belly rubs.

It was one of those nights, maybe they enjoyed the New York nightlife more than they should or maybe they started feeling themselves a little too much. Only thing that really matters in this case is getting the 2-3 seed and that's still right there at least.

Too many hardheaded people in this franchise. The fact that Harden didn't demand the ball on that last possession says a lot more than that choke job layup he missed.

Tucker was bullied down low tonight. He has no lift as is and he just couldn't keep their bigs off the boards. The rest of the lineup obviously didn't do enough either but having vertically challenged Tucker down low trying to keep their bigs off the board wasn't ideal.

The lack of effort out there tonight was staggering.....they laid down the first 2 quarters.

Because rebounding with small lineup depends too much on effort.

You need to play playoff intensity every night on defense and board or you really struggle on rebounds.

We should seriously bring Isiah back for some minutes to relieve fatigue from our dwarfs

Not going to win them all. Even if it’s vs Knicks. They have a lot of good Fs and that’s where we are weak. Combine that with a bad shooting night and we lose a close one. It happens.

House Jr should not be starting. Wish someone could take his spot. He needs to play Green a little more, he could help on boards. We need Gordon to get it going again.

The Rockets effort on the boards was poor and that will happen sometimes. The Rockets will lose the rebound battle some night by 10 boards and that is fine... but 30+ boards tells me it is an effort issue tonight.

The Rockets thought they could coast for 3 quarters and close it out in the 4th. They need to put teams like the Knicks away early.
