For his career Eddie Johnson was a pretty meh 3 point shooter. 33.5% on 1.4 attempts per game for his career. He had a nice 24 game stretch when he was first traded to the Rockets when he chucked it from three and hit at a decent clip, but that was a statistical outlier. His meat and potatoes for 99% of his career was 15-20 feet and he didn't naturally prefer to stretch it out to the 3 point line. He was happiest with mid range jumpers. Those 24 games skew Rockets fans' memory of him.
