    Thanx for posting.

I think after this is over and life comes back to normalcy I will go stock up my house with at least 1000 best quality masks with 95% air filters and 5 liters of alcoholic gell.

Masks wtih filters don't go bad right?

Also this explains how they failed the flu vaccine this year. They only make it based on educated guess.

Yes of course. It took years to find out what serious consequences SARS left to recovered people.
However China had in isolation more than 20.000 recovered patients of all ages. (That's why their recovered statistics didn't make any sense).
Out of all these population wouldn't there be a couple of cases that we could observe the virus resurfacing?

It tested weak positive meaning it could have just been on it like a doorknob. This type of misinformation is what’s going to fuel a country already cruel to its animals into doing unimaginable things.

it’s ****ing ridiculous to see the hysteria over something like the flu that kills the very young/old /immune compromised regularly.

the media is loving it, and unfortunately , unnecessarily we are going to see animal cruelty

Are these people all under government quarantine? Or are they in self quarantine and free to interact with the public?

Yes, they're all evacuees and haven't left whatever Air Force base they landed at.

There are now more "resolved" cases (recoveries + deaths) then active cases, which is interesting. The number of active cases went down by a couple thousand despite many new cases due to the number of recoveries in China. That feels like a good thing... probably meaningless though.

3 new cases in the United States: [source] [source] [source]
    - 1 in Washington State: a 18-year-old student from Jackson High School in Mill Creek with no travel history to an outbreak area who on Feb. 24 had body aches, chills and a headache. After feeling better, he returned to school, before test results came out on Feb. 28. The school will be closed for a few days of deep disinfecting.
    - 1 in Washington State: a woman in her 50s with confirmed travel to Daegu, South Korea.
    - 1 in Oregon [source]

So did that woman in the 50s infect the 18-year old student? Or is it much more serious than that.

There's also three confirmed cases in California.

One of them was in a hospital with respiratory illness prior (Feb 15th) to the evacuees even landing at Travis AFB (Feb 16th), and the hospital didn't have her quarantined, immediately, because she is a chronically ill elderly woman who, I guess, presents a lot.
