Where do you go for your Rockets Sports Radio? Fricking 790 is all Astros all The time. For the last couple of months I try it when I go to work. They talk everything but the Rockets Salisbury sucks Rocket River #irritated.
I actually like Salisbury, and I almost always hate morning shows. With that said, anytime (not necessarily the morning show, just period) Michael O'Conner is on...expect talk to be almost entirely about the Astros.
I see what National Folx get so much run and love here because Almost no local coverage for the Rockets I think the only time I have heard snippets is after a loss I am just sick of local sports radio I won't even start on All Texans Talk 97.5 is the only FM station that comes in worse than an AM station Rocket River
Lately I've been hearing a decent amount of Rockets talk on the radio but if we are going to be completely honest, this Astros stuff isn't going away anytime soon.
Houston sports radio is a joke. Haven’t listened in a very long time. Are Fred and Aj still a thing?? Despised their show and their act. Their lack of knowledge of anything sports was too much for me to be able to put up with their arrogance. The fact that they were the #1 sports radio show in Houston says all you need to know about Houston sports radio.

I don't know. Other than Sean Salisbury I actually think 790 does a pretty good job. But I like the Astros talk so I might be blocking out the lack of Rockets. But really, Matt and Ross, then Adam and Adam are all big Rocket fans so....97.5 does a good job of covering the Rockets I think. Until you get to AJ and Fred who are really just very sad men and need another type of radio show. Something that has lots of complaining and sadness but no passion. They would be perfect for that. I'm not going to mention the Texans propaganda network because well it's Texans radio and I'm not interested in what John McClain thinks of the Rockets.
Sadly the best thing that happened to Houston sports radio was the Astros getting caught cheating. They won't stop talking about it because fans are legit triggered beyond belief. Until that dies down No-one will talk Rockets.
I stopped listening to 610 a month ago or so ...between the Astros cheating, Texans losing to KC, and Russ still trying to fit in the system I couldn’t stomach hearing about Houston sports...
Pretty much they all suck on 790. Clanton especially. Dude use to bash WB daily but now he can’t stop riding his jock. Pitiful.
You don't like Matt Thomas? Him and Ross are outstanding 12-3. They always talk Rockets, also. Say what you like about Clanton, but he still talks Rockets.
Matt Thomas is who I get to hear the most. Enjoy his show. In general sports talk radio in Houston is not good. I hate listening to podcasts, just wanna hear some good sports talk while I’m driving
IF ONLY THIS TEAM WAS IN NY!!! The talk around this team would be crazy and Harden would have (3) MVPs by now! But it's not. I think the local Sports Radio shows are doing the team a misjustice, especially 610am. They refuse to talk Rockets, since they are not their Flagship Station and the only reason they are talking Astros is due to the scandal, otherwise it's Texans 100% of the time. 790am is better, thanks to their afternoon shows! This has always been an issue with me!! We have been consistently one of the top 5 NBA Organizations over the past 20yrs+ and it gets no LOVE locally!
Never listened to the A-Team until 610 put Stoerner in the afternoon show. That is some horrible radio if I’ve ever heard it.
