Since I was a kid I've had dreams where I'm in a car crash or just falling out of the sky and I can feel myself rushing headfirst into a collision or barreling to the earth. I always wake up before impact. I still think of the last moments of this accident and hope they were just confused and didn't realize what was happening or didn't have the time to fully comprehend. At least the passengers. I'm sure the pilot's last moments were horrifying.

Incredibly tough for Vanessa to have to eulogize them, in front of everyone, i'd imagine. typically this would have happened sooner, for one. for two... obviously the loss of a child and daughter... just tough man. not that she wouldn't/shouldn't be wrecked if it was just Kobe, but i'd be looking at months before i'd likely be able to get up an eulogize a lost child without breaking down repeatedly and often. much respect... she does seem like a very competent, good person.... not that i know much more about her.
