Not sure why the Lakers would even want this guy to be honest.

Just for fun...Morris or Jeff Green and why?

Well that is some terrible timing. Certainly would’ve preferred him over Green. Clippers have no room for him. He’d cut into Kuzma’s mins but I guess that’s not a bad thing. I’d say he stays East and goes to the Raps or heat or Celtics even.

Kieff's ankles are going to be chopped into kindling. This dude was unplayable when he went to OKC too. LA fans are so happy to get anything after missing out on everything, lol.

You take who you can get (and who you can keep away from your rivals) this time of year.

I'd probably? take Keef over Green & Carroll but the Rockets got their guys, what's done is done.

he's been a rocket killer in the past, but that was when capela was chasing him around, so not sure anymore. but they still have no one to help leroids run the offense, and really no closer at all who can get them a bucket in the clutch (clips have 4 of those )

yeah the kieff I saw in okc wasn't any good. he seemed to have a bit of a bounce back in detroit but I think at this point I'd still prefer Green over him. Green's athleticism, length and versatility can be better utilized here to help hou win games.

Let them have him, rather have Harkless.

I didn't know Kieff was shooting 40% from 3 this season. Lakers are not going to utilize that at all.

Would've been alright, but I feel like I'd still take Carroll or Green over him just for the simple fact that Clutchfans would go nuts with the Marcus comparison's and the standard would be too high.

This is what I'm thinking too. This is hard for me. Playing internet GM here...conventional thinking I would go Morris, but I think Green has more upside in this particular system with the way we want to play on both ends of the court. I don't know. Be interested to get other opinions. It probably doesn't matter, but just for fun.

I’d take Morris over Chandler but idk how realistic a target he is. I doubt the Rockets are pursuing really hard.

    6'8 Jeff Green 7'1 wingspan (33)
    6'8 Markieff Morris 6'11 wingspan (27)

Green is older but he is more explosive athlete, longer and is better defender than Kieff (unbelievable how lazy Kieff can be on D).

Well this is interesting news from Bima. Apparently if we really want him, we can claim him and still be under the tax.

I can't really remember when the last time a player was waived and made it openly known where he was likely headed after he cleared, but another team claimed him off waivers before getting to that point

I feel like teams never do this
