How about we start off with something like mandatory catastrophic insurance like how we do with cars?

The notion that only M4A can solve the issue you wrote isn’t true.

Look at obesity rates and how much we spend on preventive healthcare and get back to me about “lucky”. There is no serious dialogue about obesity and the costs associated with it.

That sounds great. Let's trust insurance companies to do it....oh no preexisting conditions?

Not unless you're dirt poor, have a full-time job that provides it or a retiree. So that's what? 40% of Americans?

The commie smear is not pathetic when you have Bernie saying billionaires should not exist.

Because some don't want medicare for all they are in a malaise?

    Get over yourself.

Around the world every country that has universal healthcare also has private insurance and supplemental insurance so you are just flat wrong here.

If you think its simple math that shows you have no clue how things actually work.

The statistical number is around 9% that don't have ANY which incorprates millions of Americans.

However the number of Americans who do have some form of healthcare coverage but are afraid to use it because they are afraid of paying for deductables and having their premiums increase is significantly higher. In effect, they might as well not have it because they are just too afraid to use it.

Billionaires shouldn't exist in a fair capitalist market where corporations aren't allowed to exploit labor and have undue influence in our legislation process.

There is no reality where Michael Bloomberg does THIRTY THOUSAND TIMES the labor of a proffesional mechanical engineer making 200 grand a year salary.

Communism is a economic philosophy that doesn't believe in private property. Bernie Sanders believes in private property. It's a disingenuous hit job.

Michael Bloomberg being called a oligarch is a more academically accurate term than Bernie Sanders being called a communist.

Billionaires not existing is not really a communistic idea.

There is a pretty good moral argument, that indeed, they should not exist, even in a capitalistic system.

This is so much bullshit and it's why Bernie is not running away with the nomination.

Your condescending attitude that because people don't agree with you they think everything is fine or that things are acceptable is a joke.

Every candidate on that stage wants the same things that you do, how are you the only woke one?

It's hilarious that you think this. I've defended Biden, Pete, Warren, Amy significantly more than you have Bernie. You are the one buying into the right wing framing of labeling him a communist.

And no not every candidate wants the same thing. They are hive minds. They have different motives and incentives to run for president. That's a naive outlook.

    What?

Think makes no sense did we trust insurance companies to admit preexisting conditions?

M4A is not the only way to enact catastrophe coverage.

Let’s first worry about everyone having basic catastrophic coverage to prevent medical bankruptcies.

Your misunderstanding of how things actually work is apparent. We already have pre existing conditions covered under ACA...

See this is what I am talking about, you don't even know the actual numbers yet you want somebody to listen to you.

    https://www.census.gov/library/publications/2018/demo/p60-264.html

    91.2 percent

The percentage of people with health insurance coverage for all or part of 2017 was 91.2 percent, not statistically different from the rate in 2016 (91.2 percent). Between 2016 and 2017, the number of people with health insurance coverage increased by 2.3 million, up to 294.6 million.

That is just a number of Americans that don't have ANY coverage. It's still millions of humans.

However there is a significantly larger percentage of Americans who are afraid to use their coverage because of deducatbles. Americans are skipping check ups even when coverages because they are afraid they won't be able.to afford the bill later. So in effect that number is much higher.

That's you opinion about Billionaires and you are welcome to it but its not a winning argument for president IMO.

You can trot out all the actual definitions you want but to most Americans it comes off as being envious and hating.

Coverage % can be deceiving because there are tons of garbage insurance products. Insurance that doesn't cover anything.

Exactly it's an argument, an argument that the vasty majority of Americans do not agree with.

So how does this work, once you reach a certain amount you just stop working or trying?

Give me your pitch for why they should exist without using "most people agree".

    What wave?

He has yet to crack 35% anywhere in the primary.

And he barley cracks 50% in national polls.
