If rockets are not good in playoffs then who and why is? What did Denver, Utah, PG, Giannis or even LAL do in playoffs?

Media is all about narratives. The rockets had a good narrative coming into 2019, but Morey had an awful offseason, and signing Melo then cutting him. Messed with our narrative. Then come April/ May the seeding messed us up. Morey thought if we had a lower seeding it didn’t matter. Now fast forward a year to 2020. We lost to GSW, after Durant got hurt and didn’t have a solid game plan to adapt to the warriors they were playing a free style and what we game planned for what completely thrown outside the window. Curry kept waiting for a switch on PJ, and he can use his quickness to overcome his physicality. Now going into this 2020 playoffs. I do believe Morey is putting all his chips on the table and going all in. It’s now or never. Harden could’ve have 1 chip already but now it’s all about trying to get him atleast 1. We got a 3-4 year window left and so far this is our best chance. We have to get it done. Rivers said game 5 when kd got hurt no one took control of the moment. exactly, against teams who didn't have 4 future hall of famers in their prime, the rockets are 12-3 the last 2 years. against the team with 4 future hall of famers, we've played the only 2 competitive series against them (out of 10 when they were healthy) and may have won one of them if not for our own injury. we're literally the definition of good in may and june the last few years.

That’s just stupid then every team is bad in April and March because they don’t win it all. Is like they forget that Russ and Harden haven't been to the finals. That Russ has been to the conference finals with OKC too and that the rockets have gone to 2 conference finals. Faced warriors twice and one time they almost won if it weren’t because of bad luck. They forget we faced the warriors last year and yes we lost to them but Kd getting hurt changed our game plan against them. It also made the warriors play a different way like before kd got there. We weren’t prepared and the pressure did get to them. Also cp3 wasn’t playing like he is playing this year or the year before. He was bricking a lot of his shots, Capela wasn’t doing much either and pretty much everyone was shooting poorly as well. We just didn’t play to our potential. But the year we played well, we lost cp3 and never could recovered.

Anyway they always forget about all that. Just focus on us not winning the chip. They don’t hold other teams accountable for not winning. Did the Bucks win? They had the best record last year. Did Portland win or Denver? They didn’t do much either. Portland lost to the warriors too. Denver had a better record than Portland and still lost. Utah can never win against us. Yet they hold them higher rank than us. Every year is the same thing. Rockets can’t win it all. Yes because only one team can. And for the last couple years the warriors came out of the west

 

People are quick to forget that the Rockets are still the only team that pushed a full strength Warriors squad to 7 games in the postseason when literally no other team had a chance against them.
