1. You are comparing career numbers where it has 18 year old chuck fest Kobe and post torn Achilles tendon Kobe 2. Harden almost completely eliminates scoring from one area of the court which is mid range, which will bump up his share of scoring in the other parts of the floor. Also, using career averages is really going to hurt Kobe here as in his older days (34-38), he didn't nearly attack the rim as much as he did in his prime. 3. Kobe attempted far more difficult finishes where Harden would either try to pass out or attempt to draw a foul. Harden isn't going to attempt to double pump reverse lay in the ball. If he sees that is the only way he's going to finish, he's just going to instead head snap back and flail or pass it out.
Hahah he's obsessed! That guilt from knowing he shouldn't have won MVP over Harden last year is hitting too hard
That dude has such an inferiority complex.. probably because he's inferior to James Harden and knows it.
None of the national media actually refuted Giannis' claim when they reported this. From ESPN to Bleacher Report to The Ringer to The Athletic, every single one of them just left his statement unchallenged and mentioned nothing of Harden's clamps. I used to think Golliver was ok too, turns out he's just another stooge like the rest of them.
So Giannis, how did that plan go for you? LOL And you still had the nuts to spew that weak sauce to the national media? Just plain embarrassing young blood.
It’s not even close in this aspect. Kobe can barely dribble on a fast break Bro. Harden with the ball in the open floor is on an entirely different plane of existence. James can control tempo, James can see the floor, James is a savant reading various situations in a team atmosphere. Kobe is zero of those things. Kobe is in a triangle... Kobe NEEDS a Point Guard.
Lelz now are we taking an Allstar Charity Game seriously now? Giannis picked the worst Allstars, came back and almost won. I guess you didn't watch. The Rocket stars had the worst numbers, Harden just lobbed, bricked till the last quarter where he made couple shots. Given he had some post defense moments. Wb just wasn't t there much. Kawhi, AD, Simmons were some of the bigger contributors. They hacked Embiid and he fizzled out.
Don’t bring stats in here. Fchowd relies on what economists call “praxxing.” It’s when you ignore all empirical evidence and use a distorted form of logic to reach a pre-existing conclusion. it sounds nice, but ultimately the logic doesn’t line up with reality because it relies on fallacious arguments and reasoning to diverge from the empirical data. Take the most recent post about Harden finishing at the rim. Harden is nearly 6% better than Kobe at finishing at the rim. If Harden was 6% worse than Kobe, he’d be one of the worst finishers in the league. That’s just the most recent example of “logic” wildly differing from reality, and it happens with alarming frequency.
Where are you getting 6% better? Are you referring to percentage of points at the rim? You're basically making an argument to eliminate context. Context in this case is Harden and the league in general has incorporated lead mid range attempts thus shot distribution is distributed into 3 pt and paint attempts. Context is also acknowledging we are comparing career numbers where Harden hasn't had his old man years yet. Embracing emperical evidence is not ignoring relative efficiency averages in the league due to different play styles and officiating.
Indeed. Especially compared to James Tiberius Harden. Not. Even. Close. Go watch Kobe’s games as a starting PG. Ewwwwwwwwww.
