I hope Rockets play Bucks in the finals so that we can watch Giannis defer to Middleton and Bledsoe in the 4th quarters, with Harden guarding him in the post.
Little does he know James is actually a pretty good defender when his man is isoing, especially in the post.
Well I hope this too, but the Bucks are built around Giannis. There will be no Embiid taking up space and he will be the Center surrounded by 4 shooters like Korver, Middleton, Matthews and Hill. The important thing in this ASG is that Toronto failed in their attempt to recruit him. Nurse proved he cant coach him, and Siakam that he is not a good second banana.
Giannis must really feel threatened by Harden....all he can do is criticize Harden. That is a clear sign he doesn't really believe he deserved the MVP over Harden last year. Or, he doesn't like hearing others say Harden got robbed of the MVP last year. Harden is really in his head.
what a cringeworthy punchable face. there’s a reason why he picked such a bad all star team.. the guy barely has any friends in the nba. can’t pick guys who don’t really like playing with you.
the only score i remember on harden late was siakam getting a free throw off of posting up harden and even that was a terrible call where siakam jumped straight into harden after he lost his footing and traveled.
yeah i don't think he realized it's a reverse insult to himself. hey, we've got all these all-stars, what should we do? i know, let's let siakam flail around in the post against arguably the best post defender in the game and somehow lose even though the other team is struggling to score.
Siakam is basically a shorter Giannis, he does something better, but as a whole not better. 'I am selecting mah African brother Pascal S.....'
The only positives, he played with the winning units at times. (Brandon Ingram on Giannis side: played 9 minutes, 2 points and +- of +10) He played the least minutes of the starters, alongside Doncic. Fewer minutes than reserves CP3(highest +- of them all +13), Westbrook, Simmons, fewer than Booker and Sabonis even.
nah he was looking towards harden who was already walking onto the court away from the rest of the lineup, also he would have referred to roidboy as lebron and not james in any case
I agree that Giannis does not know whole lot of players well outside of Milwaukee, he keeps to himself, does his thing. There are pros and cons on that, he probably heard about Harden's post D but wasn't really aware.
