Gotta stop repeating the false narrative. It's not that difficult to google the 2017-2018 playoffs and see that MDA played a 9 man rotation vs. both MIN and UTA. MDA also played 9 man rotation for all but 2 games vs. GSW. Game 4 and 5 were the only games Rockets played with rotation shorter than 9. Both those games, Rockets WON. Game 4, Rockets played 7 when they lost Luc and Nene. Game 5, Rockets played played 7 to start then CP3 went down they played 6. Facts.
9-10 man rotation is fine but there should be 15 playable players on the roster. There should be no reason to have 2 open roster spots PLUS 3 unplayable players. Injuries happen.

I don’t understand why the Rockets didn’t claim Broekhoff though. They would have been able to hold onto him as a RFA and also was only making $1.4M. Obviously that would have been pro rated for the rest of the season as well. Must just not be interested.
is it cheaper to sing him to vet min ? do we think we can give him the gary clark special ? THose are reasons why. But i do agree that I'd rather we just claim him.
They have a 9 man rotation right now with EG healthy, I'm not sure why people are being impatient about adding a player right now. I do not see anyone that is currently available that MDA is going put in front of players that he currently has. MDA trusts certain players and as much as anyone thinks a new player is going to bump Austin, House, McLemore, or even Sefalosha out of that line-up, it ain't happening chief.
You probably right. It's just hard being patient when I feel like if we could just find that 1 player that can help at a position of need.... I guess we will see in another week or so.
well there's only 2 weeks left to be able to get anyone in order to be playoff eligible. and the season starts again next thurs, which essentially leaves a week to decide between whatever pool of players is around then
And Austin or McLemore have gotten the bulk of those extra minutes. MDA constantly saying he wants to find ways to get those guys more minutes isn't a sign that he'd play them over the current crop of available players? If Markieff or Harkless shake loose I can see those guys getting PT but you're completely ignoring every time I say to be patient and see who gets bought out for some weird reason...
