That PnR game between Harden and Capela was already an endangered species. We still saw some alley oops this season, but they were mostly from Clint unexpectedly coming over from somewhere along the baseline, not from the top of the key.

If Westbrook is now our de facto center on offense, then why not play some Harden-Westbrook PnR and have Harden throw some oops to Russ? :)

Na, Harden utilized the lob every chance he got even without the pick set at the top of the key...

This is what I have wanted to see. Those two driving to the hole together would be amazing. For defenses I am sure it would be picking who to foul and who not to guard.

I still feel like we need a big man that can successfully run the p&r for limited minutes with James when westbrook sits. Mix it up on the court a little to throw diversity and wear out opposing teams mentally.

Teams been figured out the Harden/Capela lob game.

More teams switch than ever before and switching is designed to take away the PnR. Thats why Capela was generally useless against the warriors.

That last time teams were completely unprepared for it was 2016-17.

Man, Harden will be fine. He's never needed Clint to be an MVP player, you guys remember last year when we didnt have Clint, Harden was still averaging 40. He is that dude. He is the best player in the world.

less traffic congestion in center, benefit to westbrooks to get in. Less hands touch harden and less assist to.play alley loop

You are confusing dunker with a roller.

And both have been used less frequently last season and this season.

    Look up the data.

James wouldn't have a problem if the guys were hitting wide open threes. Look we should be hitting more. I wish John Lucas and Mda would run 3 point drills where each guy had to make 2500 threes a practice. That's 500 made threes from 5 positions. Then James efficiency would pick up because no one would hold him

harden don't need a screen no more...a lot of times its worse...his step back has gotten so lethal. Why bring a screen when want to shoot a 3 anyways?

but i agree, once in a while it could be a change of pace... catch them off guard.

Jaylen brown didn't offer much resistance.

Covington got those double blocks on kemba walker so harden took the opportunity to 'show-boat' for the crowd.

Harden can do his dance moves against second rate opponents but the struggle is real.

Celts are 2nd rate opponents? Lakers must be 3rd rate then.

Can't wait to see the lob 3s become integrated into the offense... Gerald Green would've been perfect.. Catch a pass at your highest jumping peak, while in the corner, and just guide it with your hands toward the rim... Exquisite Execution!

Your posts have progressively gotten more inane since we acquired Faried last season. Now you’ve devolved into flat-out trolling.

    Stop it. Get some help.
