    I liken the Dems as fragile women who consider Reps as grown men who can take it. Whenever something like this happens it’s oh stop crying and get over but when it happens to them oh the horror and everyone jumps to their defense and it’s front page news.

    Guy said he purposely waited until no one was in the tent. So, he really wasn’t trying to kill or injure anyone. It was a stupid guy trying to get some publicity. This is the type of thing that doesn’t deserve any attention, because it may give ideas to other stupid people. Glad most of the media ignored this minor disturbance.

    Of course he says that now. He's facing multiple felony charges and is lucky attempted murder isn't among them. It might be true, but be careful about citing the word of the perpetrator as the authority on what happened that day. His statements now are obviously self-interested.

    The fact that the OP found out about this on the media and elevated the story here sort of contradicts the point of the post. Obviously the media covered this EARTH SHATTERING story which is an obvious referendum on the left to justify voting for Trump, enough to get attention.

    OP... you’ve made such a great point and now I’m switching my vote from Bernie to Trump because of the fear of Fascists driving their vans into empty tents. What kind of world do we live in where Tents are now a target of liberalism aka socialism aka communism aka fascism aka end of the world tyranny.

    Actually when I searched for it it didn't show up save for one outlet which is slanted very much right. Maybe you found some mentions but this would be played up much more heavily if it was a Trump supporter on the other end.

    And I hope you get to vote for Bernie. Good luck with that. Really.

    That political violence is never the solution in a free and open society?

    Or how I think free speech and the exhange of ideas is the key to preserving our way of life?

    Also fascism is largely misunderstood. It has different definitions for this reason and transcends the simplicity of the left right paradigm. (I am guessing this is what tripped you up because you are conditioned to think this way)

    It would be more prominent if it was a Trump supporter behind the wheel. Many of our CFs would have jumped on the chance to start threads decrying the evil Trump supporters and what not as well. Do not try to act like media outlets have covered things in a balanced way.
