That was enjoyable to listen to, for some reason. Maybe because it's nice to know that there are plenty of 'contenders' out there who don't have it fully figured out either.
Elton Brand overplayed his hand this offseason. You don't bring back your best 3 point shooter (who's shooting a robust 46% from deep this season btw), you max out a 3rd-banana-at-best player in Harris and you decide to splurge on Horford? Embiid isn't the issue.
Maybe Brett Brown can replace MDA next year. He seems to be anti small ball. Should make Rockets fans happy. The drunk rant was very entertaining btw.
I feel for this guy. I often wonder how the Sixers roster construction would have gone if they would have allowed Hinkie to see it through. I honestly don't believe he'd have allowed this roster to stand. I think he'd have decided who he wanted to build around between Embiid and Simmons and moved the other because this guy is right; they don't work together. They both need to have rosters constructed around them like the Bucks have put around Giannis.
Brand is not GM material. Their acquisitions were incredibly dumb. Sixers should have stuck with Henke. They’d be winning ships by now...
Looks like Brett Brown heeded to Sixers fans yesterday and went with a smaller lineup. Brown made the coaching move to bring Al Horford off the bench, playing Tobias Harris to the four and inserting another shooter at the three. Result is better spacing and a better team. They looked more last years 76ers. Plus at home, they're impossible to beat.
