I had to go take a look myself, just to see the names above him.

Russell Westbrook rates higher than Harden now? OK?

Lillard at 7? Is Portland even over .500 yet?

And Jayson Tatum at 9. LOL what on earth?

I'm assuming Harden has dropped because of the Rockets' poor performance in January. Yet Houston still has a better record than Dallas and there's young Luka, somehow still ranked at #6.

    Sekou Smith is a clown.

don't pay any attention to it. Sekou hates Harden and will take any chance to drop him down the list

There’s no clear criteria for MVP. Nobody even knows what MVP means. It’s different for everyone.

Just remember Kobe only has one.

MVP is a meaningless award in all three of the big American sports.

Harden was/is never going to win an MVP as long as there is a viable alternative. Not having a viable alternative in 2018 was the only reason he got the it (regardless of how good he was).

Harden and MVP shouldn't even be spoke in the same sentence this year. Freak will win it and deserves it. 1 man race

Harden knows he can't win the MVP anymore so he's not taking these games seriously and playing well. The MVP award is more important to him than anything else in the world.

MVP means more about narrative than actual production. Should be called MPP - Most Popular Player.

That's what it really seems like, especially with his quotes in the offseason. Think he's pretty sensitive to it.

Now, Westbrook playing extremely well hurts his case as well so he seems kinda down.

Maybe he is another AI, only wins 1 mvp, and gets bounced out by lakers. Ah what a coincidence.. Kobe/Lebron

Nah. Look at the massive win gap between the Bucks and Rockets.

Gainnis is putting up historical offensive numbers while also being an elite defensive anchor. He truly deserved it by a mile over Harden. It has nothing to do with"narrative" this season. Last season maybe but this season it isn't particularly close.

I have no complaints about the freak winning it again this year. But do you believe that Harden is not top 10? Guys like Sekou shouldn't have the power to shape any narratives but that's the world that we live in. Clowns and con men controlling how the masses think.

I don't even care about mvp's but Sekou is a joke.

Fan narratives, Slander, and media sensationalism will never allow a guy like Harden to be appreciated while he plays. People hate change, and this guy has revolutionized the game.

In 20 years all these guys will act like they supported Harden the whole time.

Who cares, glad the focus on MVP is finally over. Giannis winning back-to-back will be in 20 years deemed another Nash, so take solace in that. Let's focus on the championship we might win in 2-4 years.

What has he done to show that? He's won a couple of championships, but he's missed a whole year because of an "injury" and only committed to a team that would've been great without him. I wouldn't say he's super driven at all. Just a really great player.
