    Houston is a city of champions when it comes to adding new minor league/2nd tier sports teams. Comets with 4 Championships out of the gate, Dynamo with 2 after moving to Houston. Aeros picked up a championship or 2. So Roughnecks, you have a rich history to live up to.

    I’ve seen him play against UH when he played for Temple. He’s a good fit for June Jones’ system but he has some competition with Connor Cook from Michigan State for the starting QB job. It will be interesting to see what happens this season.

    Energy level in the marketing is good, but they haven’t shown me any product. The kickoff sounds like a wild cat play and nothing more, lol. I don’t see why that’s exciting. The xtra point could be interesting. Anyway, let take the title and end all discussion.

    They are so new that when the Roughnecks got a TD the announcer said it was the Wildcats. Someone is going to call them the Texans today.

    LOL Curt called them the Renegades at the start of the broadcast and a Houston news anchor called them the Rednecks this morning.
