Houston is a city of champions when it comes to adding new minor league/2nd tier sports teams. Comets with 4 Championships out of the gate, Dynamo with 2 after moving to Houston. Aeros picked up a championship or 2. So Roughnecks, you have a rich history to live up to.
I’ve seen him play against UH when he played for Temple. He’s a good fit for June Jones’ system but he has some competition with Connor Cook from Michigan State for the starting QB job. It will be interesting to see what happens this season.
