Eric Gordon hasn't made any improvements in his game since joining the Rockets. A turnover machine every time he drives, gets slightly bumped, throws hands up in the air - other team gets fast break on his turnover. Just another terribly bad contract given out by Morey. At any rate, Covington is a career role player at best - hardly the savior here. This team needs a defensive coach to learn switching defense, and that guy is in Louisiana, turner has been awful. Harty should be getting playing time in this obvious blowout game. It is amazing how MDA overrates small guys, and underrates big guys - it's not like any of the small guys are keeping their man in front of them on the perimeter.

Everyone was printing up their Rockets' championship hats last night, a little dose of reality sets in for you guys tonight - you still are a consistently mediocre team that doesn't play defense.
Obviously this guy is not a Rockets fan. This is a back to back game. Eric gordon is not even close to a bad contract. What is dumb are the people that want Hartenstein to just get minutes because he "deserves them". Minutes on the court are earned and obviously in the time he was given earlier in the season he did not really impress. If Hart wanted time he should have proved it in the times he gets and in practice. Clint earned his place at the dinner table. He wasn't just given it. If he wants time then spend some time with dirk and prozingis in the offseason. Learn the ins and outs and be more consistent at the three. Work on his speed and switching and get strong enough to roll to the basket. While he is at it. Eat a sandwich or two.

Please CC was given tons of "Developmental Minutes", he even got to start at Power Forward next to Dwight Howard early on in his first couple of seasons with the Rockets. Harty has done more with his minutes than players like McLemore, Thabo, House, etc.
I agree that EG is nowhere close to a bad contract but Hartenstein def impressed in the time he was given. A quick look at his stats show he has per 36 averages of 14.2 and 12 rebs on 69.9% TS. That shows you he has def impressed in the few mins he was given it was just not enough to determine whether it was a flash in the pan or sustainable performance. That's not his fault he can't show his stuff if he gets 3 mins a night.
